Small but clean, comfortable room with a mini fridge and a safe for valuables. Nice view of the Empire State building. Elevators were busy and slow at times. Offsite "discounted" parking was still expensive ($50/day) and a few blocks away, and they dinged the side of my vehicle pretty bad.

Make sure the fire alarm is fixed!

Sleep was a huge issue. First of all, the mattresses were saggy, soft, and seemed dated. Secondly, both nights we stayed, there was a glitch in the fire alarm. It went off at 6am the first night, and we were exhausted from arriving late the night before and planning to sleep in a bit. It went off at 1230am AND 6am the second night. All alarms were followed by loud announcements telling us to ‘resume normal activity’. Funny since normal activity would be sleeping which is hard to do after all the commotion. Basically, we had very interrupted, poor sleep the entire trip. Thirdly, the ventilation system, as stated in other reviews, is quite loud. Other than this, the hotel is clean with friendly service, location is great, rooms are updated and tasteful, and the free breakfast is excellent.

Great hotel... but I wanted to extend one night.They said come back in the morning and they will extend me at the same rate and set up a new reservation. Come morning time, though, they changed their mind and wanted to charge me double. So i had to find a new place for the next night.

Stayed at room 1605. Loved the hospitality and professionalism from the staff. The room was amazing as well, the views were incredible and it was very confortable. My only remarks were that the windows were not clean on the outside and the towel rack in the bathroom had rust on the floor. Other than that, I will gladly return and perhaps make it a permanent hotel to book when I visit NYC again. Cheers

Loved this hotel, free breakfast was a great bonus! Amazing location, we walked everywhere - from the West village to SoHo to Bryant Park. A lot of reviews mentioned long lift times but we didn’t have a problem at all. Definitely will return!

Everything was good. Fire alarm went off multiple times one morning and there was minimal information provided initially which wasn’t good. You can wait a long time to catch an elevator down if you are on the higher floors. We once waiting 15 minutes. Otherwise, location is great, nice street, breakfast was good. The second floor patio area is nice.

The view from our room on the 27th floor was unbelievable!! Exactly what I was hoping for when I booked this room. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. There was a long wait for the elevators going down but I read reviews previously about that so we built in extra time when leaving the hotel. Would’ve given 5 stars all around but the mini fridge in our room didn’t work and wasn’t fixed even after alerting the front desk. Overall, great hotel in a good location!

Two major issues- the elevators cannot keep up with the size of the property. Waited 20 minutes for an elevator and when it finally came it was too full. Second, the water temp in the shower would stay consistent and fluctuated between hot and cold every ten seconds or so.
