Easy check in, staff were friendly. Stayed on the 5th floor which had a shared full kitchen that was nice and convenient. No Elevator so be prepared to do some stairs. Good area out back to smoke or sit outside. Overall, not a bad stay.

Check in was easy and instructions on how to access rooms and the building were thorough and clear. Staff was very polite and kept areas clean. Check out was easy process. As a hostel, its amenities were enough and more as far as availability of clean linen, bathrooms and showers, and kitchen. Great location - relatively quiet.

The staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. The shared spaces (kitchens, bathrooms) we're always clean. I didn't get to experience the open backyard space, but I'm sure it falls right in line with the other shared spaces. The room I rented was very clean too. The only standout was the armoire - it was getting of age and not able to hold my clothes on hangers as it was shifting sideways to fall/collapse. I recommend this place for solo travels, especially last minute travels that are in need of something highly affordable.
