The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Bus stops are within 2 blocks, subway stops are about 17 minutes away. It takes about 45 minutes using public transportation to get to several different areas of Manhattan, including Times Square, Battery Park, and Washington Square Park.There is a fabulous jazz club called Lunatico within a 20 minute walk; highly recommend checking it out if you are a jazz lover. This is an affordable place for a group. If you plan to dine in, it really only has space for 6 to eat at the table.
