I had a great stay just steps away from Times Square! I had a quick and easy check-in. The room was smaller, which was expected. I had a nice view of the city, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner that were provided smelled great and were good quality. The hotel was well-maintained and the staff was super friendly. Also, there was never a wait for an elevator and it typically went right to my floor with no stops, which is a huge bonus for NYC. I don't typically stay in Times Square, but this hotel was such a pleasant suprise and I will be back!

The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable and they had everything but a microwave available. The staff was friendly and helpful. The elevators were great, no waits ever. We also loved the sayings on the floor and the mirror in the elevator. We would definitely stay here again. The location was also perfect.

For a compact room, everything was well thought out! We appreciated the water and abundance of outlets for chargers. I hoped there’s be hooks Gor the long coats, these definitely don’t fit on hangers. And a vent in the bathroom would be good, given how close it is to the bed. Overall we had a great stay, and the staff were super friendly.

It was definitely a very good hotel. It's very well located, the rooms are small but perfect for two people. The staff was always friendly and willing to help. If I return to New York, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotels best point is its location. It’s located right in Times Square. We were staying on the 26th floor and we didn’t hear a thing from outside. 10 second walk and we were in the middle of Times Square itself. The hotel is clean and tidy and very modern. The staff were more than helpful, they were friendly and they were attentive. My only very slight negative was the room itself and its size. There was no separate bathroom - the toilet and the shower were in the bedroom itself meaning there was no privacy. Whilst this wasn’t too much of an issue as I was staying with my partner, for anyone staying with family members who require a little privacy, this wouldn’t be the right room although I am sure if you pay a little more, the hotel has different room options. However, this was still a little strange to me. There was also no kettle or any kind of hot drink making facilities. Again, not a massive biggie but just nice to have. This all being said, I’d have no qualms about staying here again.

I stayed at the Motto Hotel from the 18th–22nd. When we arrived, it was pretty late and the front desk staff member seemed extremely tired—almost falling asleep. I understand it was late, but I wish we had at least been given a quick overview of the hotel. There was no mention of where amenities like the gym were located, nor were we shown how to get to our room. Once we found the room, it was very average. One positive is that despite being close to Times Square, outside street noise was fairly quiet. Unfortunately, the soundproofing between rooms was poor—we could hear our neighbors and the guests above us very clearly. Personally, I would much rather deal with city noise than hear everything happening in other rooms. The location is definitely a strong point. It’s very convenient if you want easy subway access and plenty of quick food options nearby. One small but noticeable issue was the air conditioning. The air quality felt a bit dirty, and the AC kept turning on and off even after we tried turning it off completely. Overall, you get what you pay for. If you have the budget to spend more, I’d recommend upgrading to a different hotel. But if you plan to be out exploring most of the day and just need a place to sleep and store your things, it does the job.
