Hotel itself is nice, but several issues - the room two doors down had music BLARING and i mean as loud as it would go until 4am, and I don’t care about marijuana etc but literally the entire flop from the second you got off the elevator stunk. So I didn’t get to sleep until 5am. There was barely any hot water, and the shower (not sure if it was just my room) but it’s set up completely sideways, like they installed the shower head in the wrong place so you have to shower in a tiny 2 foot corner essentially … my tv didn’t work at all nor did the remote and it wasn’t the batteries it just didn’t turn on…. When i got there i was greeted by very young intoxicated people who were super loud again most of the night there … the fire alarm system went off the entire night bc a sensor was deactivated … it also doesn’t exactly feel secure at the front door. I also asked about where i could park and woke up to a huge ticket. It truly could be a nice little hotel and is very clean for the most part, they just need to maybe train staff a bit better & enforce rules so other guests can at least sleep. I saw at least one other guest leave at 2-3am I’m assuming bc of this as well… i will say the towels were very soft and beds comfy - for the price paid and no deposit needed it isn’t bad but if you need a good nights rest maybe pick a different place … you get what you pay for as they say.

It was below zero with wind chill and our heat went off. We spent all of our time at the hotel in the middle of the night going back and forth with the staff trying to get the heat on. The staff were nice and helpful but i did not want to sleep in a freezing room with a space heater they tried to provide. they didn't give us a new room until I said we will have to sleep in the lobby. BIG bummer. the hotel is nice and otherwise our stay would have been enjoyable. waste of money as we could have driven the 5 hours home and also not slept. we didnt get to bed until after 5am. packing all of our things to move rooms while being exhausted was awful.

Almost everything was below expectations. One of the rooms had sheets that had been slept in and had to wait almost an hour to get the sheets changed. Both rooms smelled of weed and cigarettes smoke. The pullout mattresses were extremely old and the cover they provided had a cigarette burn in it and was very thin. The second night I asked for an extra blanket and waited almost 3 hours to get it. The floor was dirty and the bathroom did not have any place to hang a hand tall with a very small sink area. The fridge had dirty glasses in it. I would not recommend the loft rooms to anyone

First of all, the Valentine's Day decor was really beautiful in the lobby! The receptionists were really sweet too. Sam was such a great help when I had an issue with the heat in my room. She was able to switch me out rather quickly and I'm so grateful since we're having a terrible winter in NYC. I loved the bathroom the most!! A standing shower will always have my heart. Everything was pretty clean, bed was comfy and I couldn't be happier with my short stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed two days. After the first day we informed the staff that there was no warm water in the room, and they said they were going to fix it. The second day we did not have warm water again. The staff said that we were supposed to run the water for 10-15 minutes before getting any warm water. Not the way you expect to get warm water, and in any case they could have at least informed us before

Nova Hotel was a perfect little stay for just me. I arrived a bit early so they can hold my bags while I got a bite before check in, but the hotel staff was awesome enough to get me checked in earlier! I was sooo grateful for that. The room was a great fit for me being they are small. I enjoyed my large balcony. Room was clean. There was some renovating happening outside of my room which was a bit frustrating and not relaxing at all. The design of the shower is a bit odd. The placement of the shower head being on the side wall instead of being at the narrow end of the shower as usual was a bit off. I found myself bumping into the shower wall/door often because of it and I’m small. So it’s a good thing my partner didn’t make the trip. Otherwise the staff was extremely helpful and provided great restaurant recommendations. Ramen spot around the block was great! And supposedly famous. I felt safe and comfortable the whole stay!
