Paper thin walls that don’t connect to the ceiling so it gets very noisy starting 6:30am until check out while people use the communal bathrooms and exit their rooms to check out. Other than that it’s decent for 1 person if you’re just using your room to sleep because they’re very small, the size of a train cabin. The manager was nice though and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The 24hr staff is a nice feature too.

Facilities were clean and the staff were great! I think the experience depends on how respectful fellow guests are as you share an open ceiling for air flow. In my case, guests were coming in and out of their rooms all night. Lots of coughing and rumaging around. Not ideal for anyone who is sensitive to noise.

Whilst there's no getting away from the fact that the room is small, it's well designed and most importantly, spotless. Great location, close to subway with plenty of good eating spots nearby.

The hotel was clean, good location, staff was lovely. BUT ... nowhere on Hotels.com does it mention that the rooms have open ceilings - key information if you actually expect to sleep. The photos of the property are carefully cropped. It was like staying in one large dormitory. Even with eye masks and ear plugs provided, it was impossible to ignore every door that opened and shut, every toilet flush down the hall, every late arrival who crinkled paper and zipped open their suitcase at 3am. I consider myself a solid-to-heavy sleeper, and I was forced to change hotels rather than complete a planned 5-night stay. Had the ceilings been described on the property information, I absolutely would have stayed elsewhere despite Now Now's generally high ratings. I gave an average review because, as I said, there were a lot of good things and it's not clear whose fault this was. My experience highlights a major disconnect between properties and 3rd party booking agents like Hotels.com. If the property does not provide full information (which, to be fair its own website clearly states) and the 3rd party does not independently verify what they are given, you have a situation where the guest gets a rude shock when they get to their room.

Very modern hotel that’s well located and stylish. Works well for solo travelers. It’s a little like being in a college dorm because you have to use a communal bathroom. But it’s very clean and well-appointed. I guess if I had some minor complaints it would be that it can get a little noisy as the rooms are very close to one another and the ceilings aren’t completely enclosed. Also, this morning the shower water wasn’t getting hot, but they fixed it very quickly. I’m another 5’8”, and my feet reached the end of the bed, so if you’re taller than that, be prepared to bend your legs. Bottom line is that’s a very utilitarian place to stay. It gets the job done, but your room is only for sleeping and dressing.
