The rooms were very clean.They give you vouchers for a free drink at the bar or bottled water/gatorade, etc, which was nice. The neighborhood is bustling and only got a little loud outside on Saturday night but nothing a noise maker couldn’t drown out. It’s 2 blocks from 181st subway and is surrounded by great bakeries.

Room was very clean. Had an issue with the window shade not being able to close. I raised it with the front desk but nobody showed to address it. I was eventually able to stand on a chair and get the shade down. Front desk staff was very welcoming and checked us in quickly. Ordered a few drinks at the bar and took them back to the room. The parking garage adjacent to the hotel was a plus. Was able to park and ride share to Arthur Ave

The beds are comfortable and the room was OK overall but a few wider issues. The $20 daily amenity fee is a con - it includes WiFi (which I don’t expect to pay for in 2025) gym access (ditto) and a limited (and very poor quality) range of cocktails at the hotel bar. Staff at reception were mixed - the guy who checked us in was arrogant and condescending, the lady at check out was very pleasant. It’s not awful but if you’re staying here because it looks good value, give it a second thought.

I stayed at their suite and corner room. Very spacious for NYC standard. Room was clean and amenities were adequate. Location wise, Radio Hotel is a good option if you're visiting the area or the nearby Columbia U, hospitals, or even Harlem.
