I live in Long Island and had business in the city in the morning, so booked a quick overnight stay in order to avoid the morning rush hour traffic. The room was clean, functional and quiet, and the staff was happy to accommodate my request for a late check-out so that I could conclude my business that morning beforehand. Definitely recommended.

When I arrived I went to my room 805 and there was a dirty towel in the shower. The manager changed room. The next room he put me in was room 808 and it had a power issue in the bathroom the breaker kept shutting down so no power in the bathroom until I figured out how to restore it. I booked for 9 day and ended up canceling 5 of those days. The manager promised I would get credited a free day but changed me for all 4 day's. I called several times and was told a manager would call me to fix the issue but never did. I have photo proof of how the room was when i found the dirty towel in my room. If the manager would have kept thier word I wouldn't have done this review but they ignored me after I checked out so here is the facts. I wouldn't stay there ever again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Easily within walking distance to Yankee Stadium. Subway stations right down the street too. The location is a bit busy and noisy outside but inside the hotel was fairly quiet. Made for a comfortable stay.

LIARS, I GOT SCAMMED. I was told that my checkout date was Sunday at 11am and everything in my gut was telling me that just couldn't be right. Turns out, check out was Saturday 11am and had I known that I would've booked different dates or not have booked AT ALL. I asked in person more than THREE TIMES to confirm since they couldn't be bothered with answering phone calls. I fully intend to make an official complaint. The room is "fine" for a place to stay, at least it's heated and clean. But the walls were dirty as if this location didn't just recently open and the TV doesn't even work properly plus weird vents all over with no particular function that I could think of. Mini fridge, but no microwave so don't bother getting food you need warmed up. Despite all this I had no intention of leaving a review if it weren't for the way I got SCAMMED.
