Over all beautiful hotel. Amazing housekeeping staff. So friendly and thorough. We just feel that some of the front desk staff was unorganized and not as friendly as they could be. We had packages delivered and they couldn’t find it and didn’t feel receptive or helpful. BUT, two young ladies who checked us in on the 30th early afternoon were fantastic. Please commend them for exceptional service that day and the following days. The door staff were fantastic and the young man who carried our bags up was stellar. Bravo. Over all good hotel and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

I checked in at 7pm and my room was dirty with a full can of garbage and water splashed around the sink. To top it all off, one of the rooms under my reservation the AC was not working at all and it was 85 degrees that day. I had reservations for a bachelorette that I had to attend to soon after checking in and did not have time to deal with a new room and I called the desk to express my concerns and received no remorse. When I followed up with an email, I was told the engineer “checked” the AC unit and there were no issues. So basically they are saying we made it up and chose to sweat all night. Offered no reimbursement and instead insulted me by offering me a free drink when I don’t even live in NYC.

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting New York! Staff were wonderful, rooms were great (ac worked great and was cold, they were SUPER clean and all the things we needed, beds were actually SUPER comfy), area is relatively quiet but very close and central to all the great places. 10/10

Amazing NYC

Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The room was HUGE for being in NYC. Bed were exceptionally soft and room was very very clean. Cannot recommend enough and will definitely return.

The hotel is GREAT! COMFORTABLE, CLEAN AND CONVINENT!!! Staff was very professional and knowledgeable, for the most part. I would suggest that the staff at the Roof Top Bar & Restaurant be a little more flexible with their job duties. We had a reserved table for dinner after a show. We arrived promptly and waited at the greeting station, many young servers (ladies) moving about the area but on one approached us. I stopped & asked to be seated and was told the seating hostess would be right with us, waited.......asked a 2nd server, she replied "the person that would seat us was in the bathroom". Then a server did come over but had no idea how to assist.......eventually & a bit frustrated we were seated by the actual seating hostess. No apologies, our server was very pleasent.

First time in NYC and SO BEYOND THRILLED we chose The Kimberly! The 1bed, with the extra living space was so incredibly spacious! The staff were incredibly helpful & kind (especially the front valet & doorman) and the rooftop bar is gorgeous! Walking to everything, so easy to the subway - would stay again in a heartbeat!

This hotel is a MUST! It’s amazing

The Kimberly Hotel exceeded all expectations. An absolute amazing experience from the moment our doorman opened the car door for us, to the moment we entered our hotel room, to The Upstairs bar for nightcaps, to brunch the following morning and then our departure with the kindness and attention the bellman and doorman showed us. There was not a detail not taken care of. This was our first time there and everyone we encountered treated us like we were old time friends / guests. I can’t remember if I have experienced a hotel staff like this. I can’t wait to return!!!
