Basic, but decent value

The communal areas are nice, as per the photos. The rooms are very basic, what you would expect for a hostel rather than a hotel and a cheap price. If all you want to use the room for is to sleep, it's fine. Ear plugs and sleep mask provided for free.

Don’t recommend

Ac didn’t work properly, room key didn’t work, had to keep asking to get my room cleaned, & some of the front desk staff were rude. Also no gym, no amenities, no breakfast.

Clean room, staff was present and helpful, but the bed is maybe 6’ exactly so if you are taller (like I am) it can be uncomfortable in the small room.

Good stay. Great value.

Great location in trendy neighborhood. Close to trains and south Manhattan activities. The price is amazing. Walking distance to great desserts at Little Cupcake Bakery!!

It is very noisy. The automatic locks on the doors especially. There are many cabins in the same floor so you hear the locks all the time at early times in the morning while people get ready to leave. Sometimes as early as 4am. But the room is private, the facilities are super clean and the staff is wonderful. If noise is not a problem for you, this place is awesome

Old woman on top bunk.

My overall stay was good. I ended up with a top bunk and a narrow metal ladder to climb in and oit of bed, but that may be my fault for late check in. Luck of the draw! Robot for check in and out was weitd but it work. Plus, there was one human there to assist, thankfully. Glad there was a curtain to pull aroind my bed because one guest had a constant cough and I was afraid of getting really sick from her. Clean bathroom and very nice location.
