Was there for 10 nights. Breakfast - Ran out of milk, yogurt and it wasn't resupplied. Sometimes only fruit was apples and dried fruit. It was like the battle of the fittest to get to the food. It was crazy. The 4 elevators were a big problem. You had to push up and down buttons while waiting and just get on or you may never get on an elevator. During busy times like breakfast they need a person running each elevator. If it is full and no one is getting off then don't let t it stop at all the other floors. Again that was a night mare. Room - Bed was very comfortable, not enough light in the room though. I am not sure how they thought you could cook with no lights under the cabinets and no extra lights above. At night, you had to use your phone's light to see what you were doing even with having the other 2 wall lights on. That was not good. : ( Room Cleaning crews were wonderful, great job. Front desk staff were great. It took them a couple of times working with my ice gel packs to figure out where to store them and how someone else could retrieve them but they figured it out and where very kind to take my ice gel packs in the morning and then retrieve them from the freezer every night. They freeze very hard in my refrigerator/freezer at my house but there the gel packs were just very cold and slushy. Not sure what kind of freezer they have but it is not as good as mine. Location was great because Subway stop was right at the corner. 2 grocery stores within walking distance.

The room heat didnt work had 4 ppls come and try to repair the heat. Still didnt work had to be moved to another room. The new room had get someone to fix the heat once again. According, to the maintenance man they been having problems with heat company for weeks now.

There has got to be a better way to get people in and out of the building.... the elevator situation is awful. Same goes for the breakfast lines.
The beginning of checking in, to the ending of checking out was 5 star exceptional. I will recommend this hotel and definitely be staying here in the future.
Stayed Dec 13-17. Highest temperature with wind chill was 14 degrees. We had NO HEAT in our room. Called front desk and they sent up an engineer who reset the heat. We went out for the day and came in late and went straight to bed. Woke up freezing at 2am, no heat again. Front desk sent engineer up to reset heat. Went down for breakfast and then out for the day. Came back late that night and no heat. Front desk sent engineer up to reset heat. Continued until day 3. On day 3 we switched rooms. We went from 703 to 1310. We were ready to finally get warm. The room was warm when we entered and an hour later the heat went off. Called the front desk they sent up an engineer. The engineer said he had just worked on the heat in that room 2 days prior and had put the room out of service and did not know it was back in service. He reset the unit from the engineer closet next-door and said he was putting the room out of service again. We had to have the heat reset in that room three times on the third day and four times on the 4th day with late check out. After speaking with other hotel guest on the elevators and during breakfast, this was a recurring problem in multiple rooms throughout both Townplace Suites and Springhill Suites, as both hotels share the same building. We were given a partial refund, but it did not make up for the discomfort of not having heat. Will not return to this hotel and cannot recommend. Miserable stay. One positive was two floors of dining space.
The hotel was renovated 4 yrs ago, according to staff, and it was superb. The bed and feather pillows were amazing. Sleep is most important to me. It is a narrow hotel: my room shared a wall with an elevator. I never heard it the soundproofing is so good. I recommend the two rooms in between the elevators (xx06 and xx08) because they have a mini corridor with a second door to block noise from the main corridor. It was awesome. The down side was Tokyoesque storage for clothes, aka almost none. But you adapt.
