Minimalist accommodations at a reasonable price

We chose the Tribeca Hotel FIDI for its location (which was great) and kitchenette (which was less than we hoped). The staff was uniformly friendly and responsive, and they did their best to make us comfortable. But the building is loft-like with high ceilings and concrete floors and no decor to speak of… so the street noise and partying guests were incessant. It proved a trade off between affordability and comfort.

It’s like a mini studio apartment with fridge and microwave included .. it isn’t bad .. just a few things such as flooring and carpet - you can tell it needs somewhat of an improvement but I enjoyed my overnight stay. Will come again .. but this will be an secondary option

Quiet, friendly staff, good location in the financial district The room is basic, it can easily be improve by making the room feel less cold, arranging the TV cables and repairing a curtain, cleaning the corners and a poster in the wall. But if you need a good nigh sleep and fresh drip coffee in the morning is a good place

The only thing good is the location. It took entirely way too long to get a room since the first one was bad. The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything in the hallways and from both rooms next to me. The couple next door were yelling and fighting all night. I even called to complain. I regret not calling the police to handle it. The rooms seemed to be poorly maintained with weird furniture.

It was scary, front desk not friendly, whole place even my room I could smell weed… I don’t do drugs not into breathing it in inside my room as others partake, horrible towels, kitchen had holes in it where appliances used to be, very loud with bagging doors and staff loudly talking all night, did not feel safe.

The hotel has a fantastic location, proximate to subway stations (one is right across the corner) and within walking distance to Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial. Quite a wonderful find!! Also, the staff was super friendly and helpful.
