While convenient to the financial district, the staff barley speaks english and that makes it hard to commincate. The 1st night pur room had water pouring in from thr ceiling. We were on the 2nd floor and no rain. So i had to be coming from the 3rd floor bathroom directly above. It was a flood. We had to change rooms, obviously. The remote to the tv was broken, and only 1 single towel provided in the bathroom.

Kinda dirty but the staff was very kind

Well the staff are very kind, but outlets didn't work, bulbs were dead, the fridge was kinda gross and there was a film of sticky stuff on many of the surfaces like soda had spilled and it was never cleaned and the floor was filthy but the big boss should probably give housekeeping a real raise if they want better from them. Location is shady at night for women alone (which is NOT the case for all of NYC; anyone saying otherwise doesn't know the whole city, no offense). But it's shady because it's deep IN fidi, not tribeca. Yeah I should mention that, this hotel is not located in tribeca 😂

The room was fine, decent amount of space and great to have a desk and kitchenette. The staff was lovely. The location in Tribeca was excellent. However, unfortunately I didn’t sleep well all five night due to near-constant hear noise near the elevator (occasional loud bangs), adjoining room next door (people partying at full volume past 6am), and through the window to the city streets where trash collectors made significant noise starting as early as 5:15am for hours and Rector St subway could be heard both early AM and late night from down below. Also, I had to ensure smells of smoking from the adjoining room through the night and early morning.

If you wanted to watch any type of sporting event (college football) you had to pay for it. The tv did not have normal channels. The room was dirty. Overall a terrible experience!

Bit noisy outside with all the sirens and construction traffic as well as deliveries and refuse collections. But managed. Flooring in the room was a bit basic as just concrete. On the last night the room next door had the tv loud and it was not great, not much sound proofing. Convenient for places to eat without going too far.

I love the simplicity of this hotel. The price can’t be beat. It felt like my own loft apartment. However the walls are very dirty and grimy. I went to the store and bought a bottle of disinfectant counter cleaner and used a wet washcloth and spent less than an hour wiping the walls down. After that it was all good. Room 23 is now clean! I also bought my own comforter for $18 (twin size worked great for king size bed) and I felt it was cleaner. Overall I still saved over $1200.00 on my hotel costs. Staff were great except the fact that they often clean other rooms in the middle of the night and it gets noisy. I will stay again.

I stayed in room 307 and my parents in 305. The reason I gave such a low rating is because on the first night, the sheets had an odd sweet smell and there was a brown stain on the blanket. I couldn’t call the front desk since the phone in the room wasn’t working. The next day, when we returned to the hotel in the late afternoon, our room still hadn’t been cleaned. When I asked about it, I was told that housekeeping is only done upon request (at no charge, but still needs to be requested).
