Do not book this hotel via 3rd party!!! We booked via Expedia, paid in full. Got to the hotel on arrival day early but was told early check in not available due to over booking (red flag #1). After they checked our reservation, we gave them our stuff to hold and went on with our day. Later that night, i called to make sure everything was still good and that’s when they informed us they overbooked 30 guest and we did not have a room. We hurried there, and saw multiple people waiting for their rooms. All cancelled because they booked on a 3rd party site. Manager blamed Expedia saying they informed them a month ago about the situation, contacted Expedia and they said no one contacted them. Just pointing fingers each other, no accountability. The hotel rerouted our Expedia reservation to another hotel 15 mins away and told us we were responsible for our transportation. Needless to say, we got our full refund but again i say DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

We arrived around 9 PM for a reservation that I made two months ago. Upon arrival, we were not allowed to park temporarily near the entrance with our hazards on to check in (I tried anyway and got immediately approached by staff). We had to park quite far away in a full parking lot and carry in 4 days worth of luggage for 4 people. That was unpleasant. We walked inside to a busy lobby full of unhappy people. Some glitch in the system had allowed many rooms to be double booked, we were told. The staff were working on finding space at other local hotel affiliates for people. We had to let them find a different space for us themselves if we wanted to be reimbursed for this booking. So basically if we took matters into our own hands and looked for our own new place, we would still have to pay for this hotel too. We waited close to an hour with young kids before we were told that our room was actually still available for us at this location. I was quite thankful but so many people around us still didn’t know where they were going for the night and had planned on taking the shuttle to the airport in Newark the next morning from THIS hotel and people were very tense and upset and I really felt bad for them. Overall, a very upsetting situation. Again, I am thankful we did not get relocated. Limited space at this point: breakfast buffet was subpar. Our bathroom was very small and outdated, despite booking the best level of room. We used the airport shuttle and that was good.

Staff at the reception could be a little more polite. Housekeeping wanted to come in at 8:22am when I was having a meeting. Bar in the lobby is awful. Food is awful. Wine was extremely cheap. Bar staff not knowledgeable

The room was decent for a 29 hr trip. I hated the traffic trying to get to the hotel. There were hundreds of people right off the highway, blocking traffic. But the staff at the hotel was very friendly, helpful and compassionate.
