I travel to Newark area often in transit and usually stay at an “airport hotel”. For a change I chose TRYP and enjoyed every second. The staff went above and beyond from front desk, to housekeeping to the restaurant. A huge shoutout to the restaurants JAYSEN and his supervisor Felix for their attention to detail, excellent service and hospitality. I highly recommend not just the hotel but the restaurant. Thank you Jaysen! Your new Canadian friends.

The room didnt have the heat working properly. Also the tv didn't work properly until.i had to call to the front desk. Honesty the amount of money i paid for two roo.s was soo not worth it . So disappointed 😞 I aslo let the front desk person know i was NOT happy with my accommodations.

First of all I want to say how absolutely great the staff at this hotel was. They made our stay wonderful! Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. The hotel was super clean and was close (easy/safe) to some great restaurants, Prudential Center and Penn Station. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this area the Newark area

Purdy darn good.

Give credit where it's due. The hotel isn't in the finest location. But it is practical when getting into NYC. There's the Museum of Art next door. . and a lovely diner. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and sufficient. Most importantly, it had a friendly shuttle to and from the airport. Well done Tryp. Yer ok.

I only stayed overnight, but my room was fresh and clean..For it to have been so cheap I was impressed with the room.The bed was comfy. Nice space..Bathroom was very nice and spaceous. I have to come again so I can enjoy everything this place has to offer!

Had to move room because of the smell. Smelt like greasy food. Second room was better. Thermostat i room is controlled centrally so couldnt adjust temp. Staff at front desk were ok. Speaking in spanish to each other when I asked a question in english I think is rude and needs addressed.

Overall, a good hotel and great location. Within walking distance to the Prudential Center. Parking is a little sketchy when the lot is full and if you are in a room next to the lot you can hear them moving cars all night. Pretty clean and rooms are a good size!

The sheets in my room were full of static, sparking, and shocking me nonstop. The property should spend an extra two cents per wash, and place some dryer sheets in their machines so customers can be comfortable. Also, the AC fan is extremely loud inside the room.
