Fabulous location

The location on the Promenade des Anglais is superb with easy access to all the city's wonderful attractions on foot (or by bus from the nearby "Promenade Congrès stop). My room on the 5th floor with a double balcony (albeit that at times it seemed just a wide ledge !) had sweeping and uninterrupted views of the Baie des Anges - perfect for watching the impressive firework display at the close of the Nice Carnaval. The room was spacious but could have had a more Mediterranean "feel" without the brown and beige colour scheme ! Excellent quality bed linen. It's a pity that there was no chest of drawers which the room could easily accommodate for guests staying more than a few nights. It also needs proper bedside tables but that was impossible with the placement of the bed. The kettle was poorly located within a cupboard where one also had to store clothes. The bathroom was large but the brown marble - everywhere - was personally unappealing. Surprisingly, the shower within the bath had no screen or waterproof curtain which meant that water was sprayed beyond the bath. The basin - of two - which I used had a deficient plug plunger which meant the water was not retained in the basin. The latter issue being a reason for marking the hotel down on its sustainability / eco rating. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff were faultless - friendly, helpful and professional. Despite the few niggles I had, I would be very happy to stay again.

The view from our room was amazing! The service and staff was excellent! Loved the bar and restaurant. High quality spa and worth the additional cost. Rooms were spacious and the blackout blinds helped a lot for acclimation of time difference.

Hotel and Spa? But the spa wasn’t available for my entire 5 day stay. The spa was the reason I booked this hotel in the first place. When I asked the receptionist (Vincent) to speak to a manager he refused my request and rudely told me there’s nothing that could be done.

The views were amazing. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. I booked this hotel for the spa but it turns out you have to book it weeks in advance cuz it's highly in demand. But overall the hotel was impressive and charming and I would stay there again!

Lovely views

Excellent check in, very friendly, lovely room, but would preferred the shower attachment to have been fixed rather than hand held, as bath very large and not green to use it. Good breakfast choice, but heated selection were cold. Check out great. Staff again excellent.

This is my second time staying at the Westminster and it is ALWAYS incredible. The views of the Mediterranean Sea are incredible, and the staff is ALWAYS so enjoyable! I was surprised to see that BOTH the glass of the elevator AND the window in the bar were BOTH still broken from last year. Overall, the quality of the amenities remained EXTREMELY high, the Spa requires reservations days in advance.

Underwhelming Stay

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, found it disappointing. The rooms are quite small, and upgrading to a “superior” room doesn’t add much value—sticking with a standard room is likely a better choice. The hotel feels outdated and lacks modern amenities. I booked a queen bed but received two twin beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable due to the gap in the middle. Despite being marketed as a luxury stay, it falls short of that promise. The hotel’s best features are its convenient location near the city center and the beach. However, aside from these benefits, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
