There was no mention of any VIP nobody even mentioned an upgrade there was no comment about any bottle of any welcome drink a lot of rooms things needed to be fixed other than that what you promised never even mentioned

We loved our stay at Hotel Barcelo. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Roberto at the pool bar was amazing, very friendly and attentive.

Needs to be updated inside. Can only make 3 reservations for dinner on a week stay then you can only eat at the buffet. Food all around is horrible. Service and pool area was good. Housekeeping came in my room 3 times even though I had do not disturb on my door.

We check in the property day 1 we should received a bottle of wine that included in our package but we didn’t get that,day 2 we ask to refill our refrigerator and ask for clean towel they clean the room but not refilling the used item .

The property itself was very old and not well kept. The smell of mildew was throughout the hotel. There were not towels in the room, balcony door handle broken, the air conditioner would not go up or down in temperature. The food was also lack luster. It all reminded me of school lunch.

Great location! Overall, we were happy with our stay, BUT….Was a little disappointed in the food. Didn’t like the idea of having to wake up at 5 am to reserve a spot with shade on the beach. The drink servers on the beach were slow and didn’t deliver drinks but maybe 3 times the whole day we were on the beach. Could use another bar closer to the beach…the pool bar gets crowded and the wait times are often long. The housekeeping staff does not stock washcloths in the bathroom. We had to literally run down housekeeping staff to get washcloths.

Resort was very nice. Restaurants had great food varieties and were very good. However, adults should have the option of choosing to dine with all adults. Having the only option of a 9pm dinner and then having to eat with tired, cranky, crying children under the age of 3 makes for a VERY unpleasant experience..
