Odsherred is one of the most beautiful vacation areas in Denmark and is known for its varied nature, especially the Klintebakkerne near the vacation home. Take a walk in the beautiful Klint and experience the stone pillars, a unique phenomenon created by passing guests, and eat your lunch on the Klint mountain overlooking the Kattegat.



In the area you will also find many galleries, craftsmen and the 13th century Dragsholm Castle, said to be haunted by the white ghost. The town of Nykøbing Sjælland is about 6 km from the vacation home and offers plenty of shopping opportunities with several supermarkets and a cozy pedestrian zone with specialty stores and cafes.



Take a walk around the Gravhøj route and experience the Ice Age landscape, the Stone Age dolmens and Bronze Age burial mounds, the Hempel Glass Museum, the Odsherred Museum. The nature school with its many activities offers about expeditions in the forest, butterfly safaris to trolls and fox riding. Children will love seeing the many fire engines at the Odsherred Fire Museum or taking a seal safari from Rørvig harbor.
