We spent a week here and loved the experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also took some of the cooking classes which were excellent. It's an easy walk to the main plazas and there are a number of excellent restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It's a little oasis of quiet and comfort in a vibrant and fascinating city. The self-service honor bar is also a really nice amenity and the breakfasts were wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel de Corazon in Oaxaca for a week, and 5 out of the 7 days there was no hot water. That was unacceptable, every day I told the front desk about the hot water issue and I was given excuses and reasons instead of solutions. Taking cold showers the majority of our stay was very uncomfortable. Management did not offer any real apology, compensation, or urgency to fix the problem. I was also told the reason they did not move us to another room was because they were full. I contacted Expedia and was told the hotel refused to offer any compensation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning to this hotel again!

Wow! What a fantastic boutique hotel! We stayed a week and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff is wonderful, super helpful, patient with those of us still working on our Spanish, and the complimentary breakfast is top notch! We loved this hotel. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the triple room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen staff was able to accommodate my food allergies at the free breakfast. Walkable to the center. Plus, 75% of their profits go to funding education. Would absolutely stay here again!

Hotel Con Corazon has won my heart!

We loved the venue. We were there only for one night but would definitely come again and stay for longer. The venue is spotless and creative and even though we missed breakfast- it all looked spectacular! Wonderful staff too!

Would stay here again

Stayed in a compact room during a 5 day solo trip and it was so comfortable. The room was cleaned often, breakfast was DELICIOUS and they have a self service bar where you can grab refreshments after hours. It's about a 15 minute walk from el centro so if you don't mind walking, it's perfect. I probably got a taxi twice, at night. It's next to a police station which made me feel very safe. I will say noise was a bit of an issue some nights, there is a considerable amount of space under the doors and the walls are thin which allow a lot of noise in. It wasn't enough to disturb my sleep, though. It's a very cute hotel, the staff is kind, and I would stay here again. It also feels great knowing they give back to the youth of Oaxaca.
