Liked the option of having two bedrooms and bathrooms and a kitchenette area for our stay this weekend. We were in town to go to the Henry Doorly Zoo and this hotel was only about a 9 minute drive, so that was convenient. Our grandson enjoyed the pool. Sidenote: Zio's Pizzeria was delicious. Delivery to downtown was not an option during our stay, so we used DoorDash.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and astounded at the quality difference over the span of a year ago. The sheets were not on the bed properly, the outlet in the bathroom did not work, both covers would not secure to the AC units (quite the hazard for my toddler), the black out curtains were not put on properly so they would not close all the way, and the kitchen cabinet door was falling off. When in the lobby retrieving our food delivery, we overheard the night time manager conversing with a desk clerk telling them to making sure certain doors were locked due to the the frequent issue of people sneaking in and smoke weed and doing crack in the stairwells. It was quite a shock to hear st the least. To end it, we were also very disappointed in fact that we had to pay for parking during our stay.
