This is my favourite of the Liburnia hotels in Opatija, much more personal than the bigger Ambassador. The staff are always super-friendly, and the rooms are always clean and well-equipped. The food is always good, and the indoor pool is great for when it is too cold to use the outdoor one.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Thank You! Our only wish would be coffee in the room or at least access to coffee before 0700 when the breakfast buffet opened. Very clean and relaxing. Wonderful breakfast buffet with a beautiful outside patio to enjoy it. Having a bar at the pool was really a fantastic addition! Hvala! Everyone was kind.

Lovely hotel, good breakfast. Only complaint was the extra bed in our room for our son was awful. Really creaky with a wafer thin mattress. Other than that would recommend, nice area with lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Lovely big suite great for family of four. Indoor and ourdoor pools and location are great. The thing thatvreallyblets this hotel doen is the food, we were half biard and the buffet dinner was bland and distinctively average, not befotting of four stars at all. There were also not enough waiting staff so took ages ti get their attention to order drinks so these would often arrive post eating of the main course. The plates would pile up on the table too. We ended up eating at local restaurants 3 nights so was very bad value from that perspective.

Terrible experience at premium price

I have never felt so ripped off by a hotel that I paid for as a 5 star, but with hostel service and facilities. Do not be fooled by the ad, it is a hotel with parking that has no parking space available, dwarf rooms, with lousy bathroom, smell of snuff and insufficient air conditioning, for the low price of 360 €. Dirty pool, no access to the sea despite all the pictures suggesting otherwise. In short, an expensive little pity, which ruined my stay in Opatija. I would think twice before booking at this hotel.

Die Hotel ist auf den Bildern perfekt in Szene gestellt. Es ist wohl das älteste und hässlichste Hotel in Opatija. Der Weg zum Pool ist grausam und manche Gitter am Poolrand fehlen einfach. Verletzungsgefahr. Zum Glück waren wir nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel.

Ho mia moglie in carrozzina, la porta del bagno della stanza 003 era troppo stretta e lei non poteva accedere al bagno. Ho chiesto una stanza con porta del bagno più grande ma non è stato possibile averla. Per fortuna avevo in auto le ruote più piccole della carrozzina e abbiamo potuto soggiornare in hotel senza cambi.
