Treated absolutely disgracefully. Was woken up at 12 by a cleaner, even though I'm a night worker, and told I didn't have a booking. I told them I did so they went away where I managed to fall asleep again to be woken up an hour later by the receptionist. I'm now stood in the dark behind my door almost naked being told I need to check out as I don't have a booking. When I angrily told her to go check again I was informed that the police were being called. I got dressed and went down, now completely awake, they said sorry but it's ebookers fault for saying it was only one night which was a complete lie. They then said sorry for threatening to phone the police but that was my fault for intimidating the girl after she asked to see the booking which was also a lie because what she actually said was "You have no booking and need to check out". I was stood behind MY door not dressed being told to get out and THEY was the ones being intimidated???? Now this is what happened. I arrived after midnight which they was informed about but put me down as a no show therefore now only showing a 1 night stay, THEIR FAULT. They then got confused thinking I shouldn't be in that room, THEIR FAULT. They then intimidated and threatened me through the door and threatened to phone the police when I raised my voice, THEIR FAULT!!!!!

When we arrived the pool didn’t work and told us it was out of order, when we paid mostly for the use of the hotel. When the pool reopened in the evening. We was disappointed in the facilities and don’t think we would stay again. The only nice part was the friendly reception team.

Noisy

Nice enough hotel and so well placed for Reading station BUT I checked in late...the hotel was full and I was given a room over the main Street. The sound proofing was poor and I got very little sleep. Will stay again but would book early and ask for a room at the rear.

Good hotel service lacking

Arrived on Sunday night to be told the Car park was closed as it was being painted! Could have emailed me ahead of time to let me know. Second night I could not get into the car park as there was no one on the desk to open the gate. Shampoo and complementarity items not re filled. Finally when I ordered room service it was nearly an hour before it arrived with no apology. Nice clean hotel but service let it down.

Great for a base outside London

Location is great for train station and city centre shops. Room was spacious, clean and comfy. Even had a bluetooth speaker. Staff were very accommodating to special requests.
