Was not happy with having to pay £25 on arrival when i had already paid for room,was also charged a service charke in bar for the privilege of bar me passing me a overpriced bottle of lager,i was sat at bar

Staff is not very friendly. I didn’t like the vibe. There are not enough elevators. The hotel bar didn’t have a very good atmosphere.

It’s wonderfully located, close to everything, yet somehow quiet. The staff is unusually accommodating and helpful; the bed was quite comfortable; excellent showers; surprisingly good restaurant in the hotel. Very highly recommended.

This was a great location for a first trip to London. Easy access to the subway, so close to covent garden markets, and walkable to other interesting areas as well. The big red bus stop is also just outside the doors. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. I would stay here again!

Walls were paper thin. I could hear the woman’s phone conversation in the room next to me, and heard flushing all around me through the walls. Mary at the front desk was excellent. Overall good for the price.

I would stay again at the Strand Palace!

Great location to museums, theater, shopping, dining, etc. Hotel was in good condition- clean rooms with nice amenities. Nice dining service and friendly staff. I would recommend if visiting London. Please be aware rooms are smaller then US hotel rooms

Excellent location if you're a Theater District fan and love Covent Garden and the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. My room was very nice (renovated walk-in shower) and staff allowed us to check in early at 1100 vs 1500. Breakfast was good except for the coffee, and all staff treated us well. The area felt safe, even at night.

Overall it's good. It's classic. But they didn't actually change the sheets or refill tissues when they cleaned up the room. I'm upset about this because I only asked for one cleanup during my 7 days stay but they still didn't do their job.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the strand palace. The hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms were a good size and we found the bed to be very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel!
