Impressed by cleanliness of room--bathroom seemed brand-new. Breakfast buffet had many options, every table received its own carafe of brewed coffee. Staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Everything was excellent. The breakfast, the room, the staff were all perfect. We upgraded to Kingsize bed and breakfast and it was well worth it. Lovely size room, especially for London with a nice, powerful shower. Loads of choice at breakfast and plenty of it. Staff were all happy and helpful. Would highly recommend The Strand Palace!

I arrived too early for check in and only wanted to drop my bag. However Bammi at reception managed to get me a room earlier, which was very much appreciated. He was helpful and friendly , thank you . Room was small but comfortable, breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel, all the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Location is excellent for lots of the main attractions and straight across from the savoy theatre where we were going to see Paddington the musical. We had dinner in the Joe Allen’s restaurant at the hotel which was very nice and breakfast at the main hotel restaurant which had a good variety of options. Our room was nice but the mattress was a bit on the soft side for our preference. Refillable water bottles and chocolate on arrival which was a nice touch. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return next time we come to London

Breakfast! The Strand needs to go back to self service! One chef plating your selected items is ridiculous, guessing they are trying to limit how much food you take however as a result to this, the queue to get food was at 8am at least 20 people waiting, When I left there was probably another 30 people waiting for a table. Not very good!!

Room lovely and clean, but no coffee machine facility unlike our previous room, bedrm furniture bit care worn in places, dark dim corridors to room. Main disappointment for us if not others you dont expect to have your bed located up against the wall on one side and have to clamber in or out of it! However over all our 2nd nights stay was still good, lovely hotel, staff extremely helpful and will certainly stay again.
