Fantastic friendly staff. Really helpful and kind. Great location near transport links / shops and restaurants. Lovely cafe nearby too. Special shout out to L who helped us check in and check out. Superb customer service 😊.

Great hotel in central Manchester

Central hotel with great comfort but very quiet rooms. Kettle in room always a hit for me. Breakfast was lovely too.

The property gave you what you needed: a place to sleep and basic amenities. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this will give you a bed to sleep on. Not fancy, but it has the basics, a bed, and a shower

Great rooms, poor service attitude

Arrived at approx just after 12pm due to our trip being intended to see a concert in the evening and we had traveled from far. We were somewhat ignored when we entered the reception area and not greeted. I asked if the room was ready early to which I was told there are no rooms ready it’s full. When I asked if they could phone me if my room was ready early I was abruptly told no that’s not an option, but we can leave our bags if we wish. I just felt the whole encounter felt uncomfortable and made us feel awkward. We then left our bags and returned at around 2:30pm where the staff member this time was much more inviting snd friendly. We checked in and paid a £1 city tax and went to our room. We had a triple room booked for x3 adults. Room nice and modern - x1 double bed and x1 single bed. However, the room was only really set up for 2 people and only two towels provided - we got back late so did not bother asking for another one. It’s a shame about the service as the rooms are modern and nice and very comfortable.

Room not cleaned by 5 pm Tv did not work Fire alarm went off at 12 am Breakfast poor quality .. sausages cheap , tasteless and pink in the middle . A lot of people left food , so it wasn’t just us Restaurant and bar dismal . They doubled the price as Oasis were in town - non refundable , but clearly did not take on extra staff to cope with a full hotel . Duty manager tried to help and mend tv but couldn’t . We were offered an upgrade to a better room , but we had unpacked and it was an hour before we were due to go out for the evening . Plus we ate two single ladies and wanted two beds as we had booked a triple . The upgrade was for one room with one bed . All in all very disappointing for £800 for two nights . Will never stay in a leonardo hotel again
