Hi we were very disappointed with this visit when we arrived there was no heating in which we didn't have all of our stay also yesterday morning no hot water they gave us a portable heater at 10 o'clock last night we've stayed there before and never had this problem so we are very disappointed

Stayed for one night with wife. Excellent hotel, clean and fresh room. Went for Xmas market and was delighted to see that it was only at the end of the street. Staff pleasant and very helpful, offering good and sensible advice. Car park nice and large with plenty of spaces, biggest bonus was that parking is free for hotel patrons (Hilton Hotels could take a leaf out of The Liner’s book rather than ripping off customers to the tune of £25 a day) Overall cannot recommend highly enough.

Staff members where great..Decided to head into the city had been out for around five hours. On arrival back at the room the bathroom floor resembled a swimming pool.The tap had been leaking around the top of the tap and then dripping down the vanity unit.We rang reception who sent a staff member from housekeeping who mopped up the water with the towelsWe then had to pack the tap with further towels as the hotel was full to capacity. We went to bed hoping that all would be fine overnight to then be woken by another team member wanting to luck at the faulty tap.A bad experience which had tarnished a perfectly good day.I understand that some of these issues are beyond the control just hope that this haf been handled a bit better.

We have stayed here many times before as its near train station, a good price and close to city centre, on this occasion i do think standards had dropped especially cleanliness, found sock on floor under chair, the bath taps had orange mould all round bottom and marks in bath. We didn't have breakfast and i didnt use our 20 percent off food and drinks voucher (which i had to ask for ) as we had an early show to go to and came back too late. Its an ok hotel for what you pay and maybe it was just a blip by cleaning staff that day.
