The Liner Hotel is a lovely hotel

My disabled partner and i stayed for 1night,with my sister and her partner. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Good facilities for disabled guests. We found our rooms and public areas very clean. Had our evening meal in the restaurant. The food was excellent.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We find it has everything we need, is clean and comfortable and most convenient to the Lime Street Train Station to get to anywhere by train as well as walking distance to the Empire Theatre and the shopping districts. Debbie, who is one if the “breakfast crew”, greets you so warmly and friendly at breakfast. By the way the breakfast is well worth the money. When returning to Liverpool l, we will be choosing the Liner again.

A very comfortable hotel in the centre of Liverpool. It has its own car park and an excellent restaurant attached. Lime Street station is Next Door and within 400 m is St George’s Hall, the walker art gallery and the world Museum.

Very popular hotel in a convenient location close to Lime Street Station. Room was spotless and well appointed. All areas of the hotel were very clean and tidy. Breakfast is buffet style, delicious and plentiful. We ate in the Seven Seas Brassiere from the pre-theatre menu which was delicious and good value. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage before check in and after check out is a very welcome service when visiting for a city break. The only downside was that check in at 3pm was very busy, but the staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. We would stay here again.

A great hotel for city centre and Lime st station.

This is a very nice hotel with a good size room and very comfortable bed and pillows. Location wise, it is excellent for The City Centre and Lime street station- it’s pretty much on top of the station. It didn’t bother us but you can hear the train announcements which could be disturbing to some. My only complaint is that the room was very warm with no air conditioning and we therefore had to have the window open. This didn’t help much and it also prevented us shutting out the station announcements. The staff were extremely friendly and free car parking was great.

I stayed here during a couple of warm days in May . My room faced the rear overlooking the roof of Liverpool Lime street Station. The room was extremely hot with no air conditioning . The window only opened an inch and the fan provided just blew hot air around the room. The tannoy from the station woke me up at about 5.30 am so combined with the heat ,not a restful night sleep.

Very friendly staff at the hotel and the room was lovely. We were given a complimentary room upgrade, which was a nice surprise too. Would definitely stay again when in Liverpool. Perfect location if you are going to see a show at Liverpool Empire.

Exceptional Hotel

Reception & Welcome is always fantastic, the location is ideal just a 2 minute walk from the main Liverpool Lime Street train station and the Liverpool Empire Theatre. Free & secure parking during your stay. A lovely bar, exceptionally clean and really good value for money.

Nice place close to the Station

The Liner Hotel is super close to the Llme Street Station, up a little hill. It’s great to drop your bags and go. Being next to the station brings some noise - mostly the announcements for the trains not the trains themselves. If you’re sound sensitive, a set of foam earplugs helps. I didn’t hear trains late at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are nice. Breakfast is fab. There is a bar with specials but I figured I was so close to Mathew St. I just went there.

Great location, rooms traditional but nice and very clean. Had everything we wanted for an overnight stay in the city. Food excellent in restaurant. My only criticism is we went fir breakfast at 9.40 and lots of choices had gone and werent refilled. No chopped fruit, no pastries, no yoghurt. I know breakfast ends at 10.30 but we paid £14 each and didnt feel it was good value. Apart from that, everything else was excellent.
