Firstly liverpool is not only expensive for parking it can be a long way from were you are staying. This makes this hotel stand out from the other hotels, along with friendly staff clean spacious rooms and fabulous food and drink offers.

Excellent room,very spacious with king size bed. Free parking and really good breakfast in the price. Handy location for the sights,friendly staff and a very good onsite restaurant. Nice bar attached to the hotel. All in all couldn't fault it.

Arrived at 2:25pm, and told reception I wanted to check in, but was told abruptly to come back as check-in was at 3pm. Most hotels would check if the room was ready, especially as so close to check-in time, but that didn't happen. I know it wasn't time to check-in but it could have been said in a nicer way. Had a twin as was travelling solo. Beds a bit wobbly. One single had springs sticking out. Luckily there were 2 single beds. The other bed was comfortable but there were pink stains on the quilt cover. Bathroom bath mat on second night was covered in brown stains on one side, so used a hand towel instead. Didn't try breakfast, but had heard that it was very good. Good location next to Lime Street station. Walls quite thin as heard people talking a lot, and location of room was next to corridor fire doors, which banged loudly when people passed through them on way to and from rooms.

The staff in the Liner are an absolute credit and the rooms are cleaned to the highest standard. The Castaway Bar is lovely and the food in the restaurant is well recommended

I shocked how nice the hotel was. Really good value for money and so I assumed it wouldn't be that great. I was wrong, I can't fault anything. Staff were friendly, food was really good, room was nice, bathroom was spotless with lots of big towels. Highly recommended

Great location. Check-in staff very friendly. Loved the overall vibe/theme of the hotel. Room very spacious and a good size barhroom. I didnt get a chance to take advantage of happy hour but a good option. I haven't given 5 stars, purely down to the noise of the radiators keeping me awake both nights, but appreciate to change these would be a mammoth task.

We realised checking in was the afternoon but we had arrived around 10:30 so completed all the paperwork ready and went out returned at 2pm where we were told still not available ,by 2:20 3 more couples arrived and got their rooms immediately . We saw another receptionist and room was ready 5 mins later After travelling over 280 miles would have been nice is some effort had been made to get our room ready a little bit earlier We were in room 409 which was all fine however the noise all night kept us awake There was some sort of industrial ventilation droning despite secondary double glazing though out the night coupled with the central heating system pipes which had a constant loud clicking noise also going all night .At over £200 for the night would expect to actually get some sleep and was up before 6am and left by 7am. Disappointing as my first visit to Liverpool and a great city
