Staff are lovely but the hotel is grubby. Stains on curtains and carpet, handles inside the lift are broken / missing. Rooms are stuffy - air con not working and window only opens a crack.

Enjoyable stay

Had an excellent stay tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Brilliant location and lifts were fast. No noise and the mattress was very comfortable on the double bed and the sofa bed for the children. Would definitely recommend it was an enjoyable stay.

Room overlooked the delivery bay of home bargains who receive deliveries around 6am. The window seemed to have a faulty seal as you could feel the cool air in the morning when opening the blackout curtains. This may have contributed to the noise outside being so loud within the room

Was okay. Room was ready early which was great. Always took multiple attempts with the card to get the lift to work or the door to open. The toilet has no sink so you have to go tobthe shower room to wash your hands. Not very hygienic. The drains really stank in the bath room and got so bad l could'nt. actually use the shower on my last morning. Breakfast was good but most tables weren't cleaned for use

Unpleasant

The hotel was very hot in the night and there is no air conditioning. There was also an issue with the toilet flush which was fixed the first night but there was no maintenance guy to fix it the second night so we had to put up with it and the noise of yoilet flushing all night. Pretty poor for a 4 star hotel
