The room was very clean, a little dated. The upgrade was a lovely surprise, however it was noisy. There was a fan noise we couldn’t turn off and about 6am must of been bin day as very loud banging!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the only thing that let it down was Happy hour between 3-7 each day. We opted for the cocktails, which were 241, however, the Cosmopolitan which was part of the deal had peach snaps substituted for vodka, which altered the taste dramatically when we asked the barman he advised he had been told by his manager that he had to use up the peach snaps! The following day we went to the bar and opted for the Aperol spritz again 241 however, the measure of the prosecco was minimal with the glass being filled to the top with ice! So it’s seemed like a good offer initially for happy hour but in reality it wasn’t. The hotel is in a central location and the room was lovely just a shame about the drinks

The bar and restaurant could be better it's very slow, the food on valentine's night was cold and waited 40 minutes for starter and when the mains came out cold. We waited 30 minutes for a drink due to the lack of s Taff and still wanted to charge table service

Friendly staff hotel ok s bit tired, room again was tired, worst shower ever as the hose was split. They charge £30 for early check in this was not mentioned until your in front of them, prices in the shop are mental £3.19 for a can of Diet Coke All in ok but could be better

The location was great for accessing public transport and walking to the places I wanted to visit. The room was very comfortable and quiet, although the carpet could have been cleaner. I ended up doing my floor exercises on a towel. The bar and restaurant seemed empty when I visited with no atmosphere ,so I didn't go back. Didn't take the breakfast either. Staff very friendly and quietly efficient. Would stay there again for the price.

We had a family room. The inner room (with two single beds) could have been cleaner (two large toenail clippings on the carpet). Bathroom in the main bedroom had black hair behind the door and in one corner. We are a fair hair family, so they definitely weren't ours!. There was a lack of communication at the front desk on arrival re breakfast, room, vouchers, location which was only sorted out next morning after manager intervention. Two of five lifts seemed to be out of order continually meaning queues. Both rooms would have been improved by provision of bedside lamps so individuals could read if they wanted to. Location is fantastic and have stayed in this hotel previously and feel the standard has gone down significantly.
