Very good room (1068) - I will ask it again when I´m coming to London. Sam in the reception was extremely friendly and take care of us very, very well. Breakfast was versatile.

hotel reception and lobby looked amazing and we were so excited about our stay. RIDA at check in was lovely and gave us all relevant information regarding our stay. We were let down with the room, it was quite outdated and overall just didn't have the same feel as the reception and lobby area, but this was expected as we had seen similar reviews and we still chose to book, because of the price and look of the exterior. Our encounter with the restaurant/bar staff was pleasant. Great customer service (didn't catch their names) Now what really made our stay terrible was housekeeping knocking on our door hourly, from 7am to 11am, constantly asking when we were checking out, even though we had the room till 12pm. Housekeeping lady even used her key and attempted to come in and only stopped mid way as she saw I was naked and scrambling to use the duvet to cover myself, still she didn't retreat from the door and stuck her head through the gap of the door to again ask when we were checking out. We checked in with high hopes and we were let down by housekeeping, making us feel like we needed to leave as early as dawn or something. We complained to the Hotel Manager, who had nothing but apologies to offer, little too late as I am absolutely shocked by the events in this hotel and will not be returning in a hurry. It's left a really bad taste in my mouth, not a good experience for the price paid

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 15 years and whilst I enjoyed my 2 nights I do feel the standard of bathroom cleanliness wasn't up to the previous standards. The bathroom in my room also felt somewhat tired and dated and in need of a refresh. The reception, cafe and bar staff were all excellent.

Staff were wonderful except the first lady on reception who we encountered, who was not friendly. Great view of London skyline from our room. We didn’t have any soap by the sink (not sure if there was supposed to be (as it was by the shower, but difficult to reach) and the body lotion bottle was empty. Nice towels and dressing gown. 1 biscuit for a twin room (again not sure if this was right). 2 bottles of complimentary water which was a nice touch. Please be aware that the hotel charge £2.50 per item for baggage storage on check out, an unacceptable practice that must be shamed.

Room had great view- issue with the heating but this was sorted quickly. Issue also with paying for carparking- told at check- in to pay on check- out but this was incorrect but was beautifully rectified by Tom on reception; thank you again Tom. All in all always a great for a fab location ( especially for a do at Albert Hall), and usually value for money.
