There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Trod on a small shard of broken glass in the bathroom in the middle of the night cutting foot. Lobby toilets were unclean with toilet roll all over the floor and broken toilet seat. Not the type of stay expected from a four star hotel.

There was no obvious way to turn off the lights whilst lying in the bed. There is no soap by the hand basin to wash your hands after using the toilet, had to use the soap provided at the end of the bath guessing which poorly marked bottle might be body wash. The check staff were very friendly and the room was clean but very tired.

Staff were very polite and friendly and my bed was comfortable. The room had a rather stifling / strong smell of stale-smelling air freshener (smelt a bit like it was covering an old smoke smell) though. Light switches either side of the bed also didn't work, which wasn't ideal.
