Beautiful property. Well maintained. Stayed at The Terraces. Would have liked more mid range food options. Surprised that the Valencia Restaurant did not offer coffee with meal- only espresso. Service was slow and high priced. Pool was not heated at the Terraces and other pools were extremely busy so additional resort fee seemed exorbitant. Room was great but family above us was extremely noisy. Didn’t seem to have much sound proofing in the room. And we could hear the constant pounding of music outside.

The pool was warm, clean, and had just the right balance of music and fun. The hotel was clear about what was included and what cost extra and communicated well. We stayed in March and it was quiet and calm.

Our stay at The Grove Resort was disappointing. While check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly, the overall experience fell short. The room was not very clean and had an unpleasant odor. Although we booked for eight guests, we were only provided with 12 flat, uncomfortable pillows, and the resort was unable to supply any extras. I couldn’t wait to get back to my own bed. The pool area and waterpark were poorly maintained—dirty and overcrowded. The resort advertises amenities like mini-golf, but it was not disclosed that there was an additional charge. The elevators were frustratingly slow and constantly crowded, and toward the end of our stay, one even broke down, making the situation worse. Dining was another letdown. The food was overpriced and underwhelming—I ordered chicken nachos and was disappointed to receive just six large chunks of chicken scattered over the chips. Overall, the resort is in need of better management and some serious upkeep. I was actually relieved to return home, which is rare for me. I truly wish the experience had been better.

Staff: don’t seem to understand they are working in the hospitality industry. Couldn’t answer questions, didn’t provide proper guidance or support. Front desk didn’t explain the map of the resort and where our room was, we ended up going up and down elevators looking around toting kids and luggage for 15-20 minutes. Room: (3 bedroom 2 bath) Very noisy all around the room, ceiling fans were broken, some inoperable and others hanging loose from the ceiling, all TVs didn’t have remotes, toilet was broken and water ran constantly, pillows were terrible, couch was itchy, laminate floor was peeling up, no washing cloths/towels. Resort: location isn’t ideal but we knew that going into it. 40 minutes from airport with light traffic, more if during peak hours. Best part of the resort is the Surfari Water Park. Kids had a blast there, but everything is VERY expensive. For example, the water park has a surf wave pool, which was a lot of fun, but here are the facts the person taking our reservation didn’t explain…1. A shared time slot is for 30 minutes, we had a party of 3 and it was $112 for those 30 minutes. 2. The shared time slot is for 5 people, so when we got to the wave pool, there were two others going with us, and so for $112 I got to go twice, my wife twice and my son 3 times. Moving on, there are activities listed on the resort calendar they handed out. Arts and crafts, slime building, etc but what it doesn’t say is that all of the activities cost extra.

We booked a family trip and stayed for 3 days with our kids. As it was low season (early march) the check in/check out process was smooth. We had a 3 bedroom condo and it felt like an Airbnb but in a hotel which we liked for safety. The hotel water park was smaller than we thought but it served our needs. There’s one hot tub which was nice for the colder days. We didn’t really eat at the restaurants so we cannot comment on that. We cooked most of our food and Publix or Aldi groceries store was about 10 mins drive away. The pool was good overall, the arcade was a fun way to spend the evenings. There isn’t much else to do and nothing walkable but for us staying 3 days we were fine with it. We weren’t there to visit any theme parks so can’t comment on any of the shuttles or other services. Overall we were satisfied

Stayed 6 nights. In the beginning of the week, pool and water park area very clean. As the weekend approached and more people were there, the grounds around the pool and waterpark were filthy. By Saturday, the grounds were horrible. All pool water was dirty and dingy. The lazy river was murky and dirty the whole time. Did not want my grandchildren to use it. When checking in, was told my reservation had been cancelled. Showed my confirmation email, then they found it. On checkout, I as charged a no show fee and it was a challenge to get it removed. During checkout, it was very loud and all the people checking out around me were upset and yelling about extra charges that were not their charges. I will never stay here again!

My family LOVED our stay here. We will be returning. I highly recommend this location and our kids had so much fun. We loved the kitchen, separate bedrooms and washer/dryer. The patio overlooked a nice green space. The room was so comfortable and clean. Staff were amazing and so welcoming. Thank you, Grove! We had a wonderful stay and were sad to leave.

I booked a room in the terraces and when I checked in I was told the hotel was overbooked so we got moved to the grove. Unfortunately every time I stay here there’s a problem. This the last time I am staying here.
