Great location close to many restaurants and shops. The hotel is modern and clean. Breakfast buffet has a lot of options and was tasty. There are also laundry machines for guests to use. I enjoyed the double room we stayed in, particularly the shower which has both an overhead rain and handheld shower head.

Convenient location and walking distance to shopping, restaurants and metro. Front desk staff spoke English, Which made it easy to communicate. Most Japanese hotels we’ve stayed at were only had limited staff that spoke English. Rooms are small, but this is expected in Japan. Clean and simple. Only feature of room we felt was missing was that there is no closet or place to put clothes. This was fine for us because we are light pickers with just carry-on luggage but would probably be difficult for travelers with a full wardrobe of luggage. There is nowhere to put luggage or clothes in the room.

My second time here and I’m so happy that the excellent service and standards of The Flag Shinsaibashi remains. Love the location, accessibility AND the staff are wonderful! Just wish we could have softer pillows (pillow menu perhaps?). Will go back again!
