Overall, Novotel was a good hotel. The staff were excellent – professional, welcoming, and attentive. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the location was very convenient, especially with easy access to public transportation. That said, the cleanliness of the rooms needs improvement. The bathroom showers had visible black mold, which suggests an underlying issue that hasn’t been addressed for some time. Additionally, the carpets in the rooms were dirty. While carpet can add comfort, I don’t think it’s practical in high-traffic hotel areas since it becomes dirty quickly and is difficult to maintain. If the hotel can address these cleanliness concerns, it would significantly elevate the overall guest experience.

The hotel is in need of some upgrading especially the lobby and hallways. The lock on the doors got stuck and we were told to jiggle it until it opens which can be frustrating after trying several times. In our room there was a loud clanking noise on and off, although we complained to wasn’t taken care of. The breakfast was not worth the money. No hot food. It’s an area where you can walk to the restaurants, beach, pier, shopping, and promenade. It was very safe and the staff were very nice.

Bonjour, Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour sa situation mais surtout pour la climatisation et malheureusement, celle-ci était en panne. Nous sommes conscients que l’hôtel n’y ait pour rien mais dormir la fenêtre ouverte et être réveillés par le bruit de la ville et la luminosité n’est pas ce que nous attendions pour la fin de nos vacances.

The hotel had no air conditioner for the entire 6 nights we stayed there with a family of 5. They gave us fan which did very little. Please make sure to find out if there is air conditioner before booking this hotel. Alexander the receptionist was very professional and helpful.
