Experience our elegant private home, fully fenced and featuring a beautiful private pool, located on the peaceful southeast coast of Patillas, Puerto Rico, approximately 2 hours from San Juan International Airport. The home is a 15-minute walk from the beach and is nestled in an authentic, quiet beachside community—ideal for guests seeking a relaxing vacation away from crowded hotels and tourist areas.

Casa Tropical is ideal for families or small groups looking for comfort and privacy in a natural coastal setting. We look forward to hosting you in beautiful Patillas.

***The Space-Casa Tropical is a spacious, comfortable, and affordable second-story vacation rental offering: 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms on the main level (floor 1), one additional full bathroom downstairs (near the pool area).
The home features a fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances, a spacious living room, and a large master bedroom with a comfortable seating area. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, and the outdoor space includes a fully fenced private pool, perfect for relaxation and family enjoyment.

**Power Notes**
In Puerto Rico, power outages are part of island life—our battery backup will keep lights, fridge, fans, and TV going. However, to conserve power during outages, some equipment must be turned off, including the air conditioning, microwave, hair dryer, water heater, washer, and dryer. Please note that, due to occasional issues with the island’s electrical grid, short power interruptions may still occur even with the solar system installed. We work hard to keep power reliable, but we cannot always guarantee uninterrupted electricity.

1. Only the 3 bedrooms have A/C units.
2. Parking for 2 cars.
3. Limited toilet paper and shampoo are provided for the first 3 days. Laundry soap not provided. Nearby stores and Walmart are available.

Great Property, Great Location!

Other than the oven not working (which Hector the property manager told us about when we checked in), and a couple of other minor electrical quirks as reported on previous reviews, . . we had a great time. Okaii experience

Booked this because it had washer and dryer come to find out that the dryer leaves clothes damp and it doesn’t dry out all the way that was the most annoying experience. The light went out one day when the light came back on one of the ACs weren’t working so that night we had to cut everyone in 2 rooms. They came to fix the AC the next day, other than that the house was okay.

Family vacation

Front view of the Caribbean beach, back view of the mountains, easy walk to the beach. A great pool to enjoy. Near by gestation, 5 minute walk to a mini market. Location in a chinchoreo route where you can buy food. Closed Walmart in the area and supermarket. In this house I fit 4 Adult and 6 children with no problem . Is a beautiful house and is big , I recommended.

The property was beautiful. We had a rough start with the pool, which was the main reason I rented the house. The pool appeared cloudy and the water was not clean also the filter pump was not running. But the property manager fixed it within one day. The water pressure in the shower was very low and the water was cold. Other than that, great location and beautiful house.

We had a lovely time. You can get everywhere you could want to go on the island on a day trip without it being too touristy where you hang your hat. House and property seemed well maintained. Our contact with the propert manager was good. Only negatives master bedroom TV speaker was blown, and the dryer took 3 cycles to dry our clothes properly. Our contact said he would fix these small issues before the next guest. I would recommend this house and return without hesitation as it met our needs perfectly.

Lovely time in this house

This was a wonderful property for the 6 of us to stay at. We had just come from 5 days in Old San Juan and while we loved exploring there, the apt. was not great. This house in Patillas was perfect. It was super clean and comfortable. We loved the pool and the kitchen was great to cook in! This last is not always the case in rentals, but this kitchen was well stocked and invited cooking. We could see the beach from the patio and living room. We explored some beautiful beaches by car, and overall, our group, ages 25-70, loved our time in this house and in this area of P.R.

It’s ok

House has a lot of great features, however we found it very difficult to sleep with the roosters, dogs and construction next door. Also the kitchen needs a deep clean and some replacements. I washed each item before using and felt like nonstick tools should have been available for the nonstick pans. Bring fans or noise machines and beach towels.

Great location

Place was spacious and the pool was awesome. Enjoyed the covered parking as it gave us a place to sit and bbq while it was raining. My only downside is that there were no cleaning supplies or paper products. This seemed to be a communication issue between the grounds keeper and the owner. The pool was scheduled to be cleaned twice during our stay but never was. The first time, he came to clean it while it was in use. The second time I don it believe he showed up. It probably should be scheduled for early morning or later in the evening. There wasn’t a chlorine tablet in the chlorine floating device. Also, with that many people, the two small garbage cans were not enough for all the garbage. Other than that I really enjoyed the property and would stay again.
