Although this is a nice hotel, I found it a bit overpriced. Its age is starting to show, the rooms are quite small, and it’s not close to the subway or Times Square. I understand not having microwaves in the room, but there’s not one in the hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again but others may love it.

There’s nothing to dislike about the facility or staff. It’s a very clean place and I’ve always been impressed with how consistently clean the lobby restrooms are. My ONLY complaint is that they don’t offer any complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning. The only option is a Starbucks where the most basic cup is close to $7 with the heavily “recruited” tip as part of the pay process. The in-room coffee isn’t a good option, so I don’t consider that a viable alternative. I can’t make coffee and still allow my wife to continue sleeping! It doesn’t help that I don’t care for Starbucks coffee. I think it tastes like burnt leather…or I imagine it does!
