Subject: Request for Refund – Unsatisfactory Stay at DoubleTree Hotel Dear [Hotel Manager’s Name], I am writing regarding my recent stay at the DoubleTree Hotel on September 6, 2025. Unfortunately, my experience was far below the standards I expected, and I am requesting a refund for my stay due to the multiple issues I encountered. Upon arrival, the hotel lobby had a strong cigarette odor and mosquitos were present, resulting in immediate bites. When I entered my room, I was met with an overwhelming sewer-like smell mixed with cigarette smoke. The room itself did not appear clean, as the bedsheets looked dirty and unsanitary. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool, as I was traveling with children. However, I was informed upon arrival that the pool was closed due to contamination and under remediation. This was extremely disappointing, as it was a key part of our stay. Additionally, the staff was not welcoming or accommodating when I raised these concerns. I requested to speak with the general manager, but was told he was unavailable. The lack of support and care for guests only added to my dissatisfaction. Overall, the conditions of the hotel were unsanitary, uncomfortable, and not reflective of the DoubleTree brand. I left extremely disappointed and do not intend to book at this property again. Given the circumstances, I am formally requesting a refund for the night of September 6, 2025. Thank you for your prompt attention to this mat

I booked through hotels.com but when i arrived i was told the hotel was overbooked and there were no rooms. 5 others were in front of me. I want my money back snd the 5$ they charged me to park.

The property has not been well kept. The outside is litered with cigarette butts and debris. The inside is very worn and carpets are very dirty. The beds are very comfortable though. I booked a King room and they put me in a double, when i inquired they told me the room i booked and prepared for was not available. They didnt tell me this at check in, they let me go all the way to the room then come back to ask qhy not the type of room i booked. The attendant was unapologetic and didnt appear to care at all, there was no empathy or sympathy...it was like i was bothering her by asking a legit question. Ill definitely NEVER stay at this property again!!!

When we arrived tired late at night, first they didn't offer us the cookies they give and promote so much at check in, I had to ask for them, then when they assigned us the room it was uncleaned, no sheets on the bed, everything on the floor, dirty from the previous guests, we went back down to the front desk to explain, they assigned us another one and in my opinion for a 4 star and renowned hotel and so close to the airport, it should be in better condition, I found mildew in the closet, dirt on the curtains, front desk chairs, leaks in the pool, dirty and closed and bed, and everything looks old, moldy and dirty.
