I stayed there, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff were most attentive, and I could not have chosen a finer place for my first journey traveling alone. The room was clean and spacious, the food delightful, the wine excellent, and the gym a pleasure to use. I was mildly vexed that I forgot my bathing suit and slept through breakfast, yet even so, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable and one I would gladly recommend.

Unfortunately, our experience was affected by the overall condition of the room. there were visible maintenance and cosmetic issues that should not be present in a DoubleTree property. These included poor bathroom conditions (visible wear, residue, and lack of proper upkeep), damaged fixtures, and general signs of neglect in areas that are very noticeable to guests. While these issues may seem cosmetic and relatively easy to repair, they significantly impact the comfort, cleanliness perception, and overall guest experience. This was disappointing, especially given the brand standards associated with Hilton.
