Part of the hotel is new and updated and half of the hotel is very old and run down. The management was responsive enough but the front desk staff was not friendly or welcoming at check in. If the hotel was not convenient to my office for a work trip I would not stay there. I would under no circumstances visit as a resort with my family.

Staff are amazing. Product is less good. New room smell moldy and have dresser drawer handles that pertrude and are sharp. Two of our 14 guests have bruises. The River Park is still great, but the new owners have gutted what made this place a great place to take your family. Bummer!

Hotel going thru a massive renovation once completed it will be lovely. However in the transition lots of issues. We had no hair products bottles were empty, hair dryer not functional. No cart to assist with luggage and it’s a long walk. Housekeeping skipped our room, they came in to bring shampoo and a hair dryer but didn’t make beds or bring towels. I complained to front desk but they seemed uninterested in making things right.

The rooms were nice, we were not made aware that the facilities were undergoing major renovations, and the associated noise along with that work. Many things appeared to not be working, or in transition. Was not made aware of "resort fees" when the reservation was booked, and given the state of elements unavailable, not too happy about being assessed those fees.

More dining menu options. There were no vegan choices for breakfast. Offering something like oatmeal is easy. The lazy river could have been a bit warmer. The fitness center pool was not heated, which was unfortunate. Overall the property was fine for the value even with the construction projects.

It’s under construction, which wasn’t apparent in the photos or the price at booking. We were expecting a fully equipped resort, and instead got a very underwhelming experience. I’ve no doubt that in a couple years this resort will be nice once it’s redone, but in the meantime, just be prepared for very rundown both outside and inside the rooms (ie cracked tile, carpet and couches sticky and stained, etc). The staff was hit or miss on whether they’d been trained in hospitality. First time at a Hilton resort and likely will stick to Marriott from here on out. The River Ranch waterpark was nice.

They aren't clean rooms, there wasn’t microwave or frige like it states. Also the pools are connected to the hotel. It is a water park next to it and closes early. The hot tub was also broken.
