Lovely hotel with friendly staff. This hotel had a nice ambience and I really enjoyed my stay. The only negative is that you are not able to walk into patong as the hotel is on a main road. The hotel however does provide a free shuttle bus which suited my needs.

Aivan mahtava henkilökunta. Siisti. Sijainti kaunis, mutta kaikkialle pitää liikkua taksilla, tuktuk illat tai hotellin kuljetuksella.

Le personnel de la réception a été très compétent et professionnel. Les chambres ont été bien nettoyées. L'eau de la piscine était un peu froide. Le petit-déjeuner était varié.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Pros: Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut, vor allem bei Buchung über Portale. Hoteleigenes bidding-System ist ein Witz.
Cons: Qualität der Speisen Abendessen sehr verbesserungsfähig, Mini-Portionen zu hohen Preisen.
Weg vom Zentrum, viele asiatische Gäste. Zimmer schön und gross, aber keine Aussicht. Frühstück ordentlich, Backwaren alles ausgepackte Industrieware, jeden Tag das Gleiche. Pool schön, aber klein. Personal sehr freundlich. Wird als kinderfreundlich vermarktet, bei unserem Aufenthalt im April jedoch nur vereinzelte, primär Reisegruppen und Pärchen. Mietwagen aus meiner Sicht unbedingt nötig, ausser man will nur an den schrecklichen Strand von Patong (Shuttle). Restaurant völlig überteuert und von mässiger Qualität.

Best 5* hotel option in Patong

Pros: Pool , food , free mini bar
Cons: WI-FI was hard to get connection
It was really a pleasant stay with MAI HOUSE . From check-in until check-out we was served like kings . Rooms are great , nice pools , very attentive staff , big breakfast selection , free mini bar .... i can stop with all benefits . Only downside its our family room - and they dont have balcony . This is only downside in this super deluxe hotel . Also wi-fi had trouble since to many guests using it .

Luxus-Hotel mit Blick auf Patong...!!!

Das Mai House Hotel befindet sich etwas außerhalb von Patong an einer viel befahrenen Straße Richtung Kathu. Leider hat die Straße über mehrere hundert Meter keinen Randstreifen. So das man nur unter Lebensgefahr nach Patong laufen kann. Es gibt aber einen kostenlosen Shuttle-Bus ins Zentrum und zum Strand (unbedingt vorher anmelden, da die Sitzplätze limitiert sind). Ansonsten ist man auf ein Taxi angewiesen (mindestens 200 bis 300 THB). Das Hotel selbst ist wirklich sehr schön gestaltet und in bestem Zustand. Ein moderner Komplex, dekoriert mit traditionellen Elementen aus Thailand und China. Im Zentrum mehrere Pool-Anlagen. Allerdings kein Infinity-Pool. Das schönste Panorama gibt es von der Sky Bar. Ansonsten verfügen nur wenige Zimmer über einen guten Ausblick. Der Weg zum Zimmer kam uns mit den vielen Treppen und Gängen zudem vor wie ein Labyrinth. Unser Zimmer: Recht groß mit bequemem Bett, freistehender Badewanne und Sofa. Dazu hinter einer Glastür noch eine Dusche. Wobei man aber auf dem WC nur wenig Privatsphäre hatte. Denn dieses befand sich ebenfalls hinter einer Glastür. Optimal: Wohlriechende Pflegeprodukte aus Spendern. Kostenlose Mini-Bar mit Softdrinks, Wasser und Bier. Echte Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre bei der auf jedes Detail Wert gelegt wurde. Das Frühstück in Buffet-Form mit viel Auswahl. Allerdings eher auf den asiatischen Geschmack abgestimmt. Ein paar Dinge wie z.B. Joghurt habe ich vermisst. Selbst beim Tee wurde nur eine Sorte angeboten.
