The hotel seems nice enough, but we experienced so many issues with it.
1. This is a “VIP” hotel but no amenities were offered.
2. The place is a maze and even the restaurant staff said we were placed in the farthest most area of the hotel. Bell from the restaurant had to walk us to our room as we would never have found it on our own.
3. They’re under a lot of renovation but we should have been advised of it when we checked in. Even better, it should be noted on their Expedia page.
4. These renovations caused power to go out intermittently, so no AC, TV or in-room phone access to the front desk. Calling on my mobile didn’t work as no one picked up. So, when I needed to access front desk or room service, I had to take the very long walk to get access to service.
5. On the second day, we wanted to use the pool waterslides before checking out but was told it was not operational due to power outages.
6. The “offered daily” pizza classes had to be ordered 1-day in advance but that was not disclosed in the hotel info. Bell, the very nice gal from the restaurant, tried to accommodate but it was too late in the day also due to power outages.
7. The housekeeping is OK, but we opened a packet of shower cap and found the box empty.
8. Hopefully it’s due to renovations…the shower water came out brownish.
9. Upon sharing our experience at check-out, front desk did nothing to retain loyalty. Not even a free pool day pass. Nothing.
Not likely to return soon.
