The road that leads to the village of Lluc is a paradise of peace and tranquillity in one of the most virgin areas of the island. And it is in this area, just 2.5 km from the old town of Pollensa, where Villa Cals Frares proudly rises over the valley that extends at its feet. Villa Cals Frares has its own soul, its own history, which now shines again in all its splendour after a careful renovation. Built in 1925 and belonging to the same family since then, this enormous estate (traditional Mallorcan farmhouse) is now a comfortable independent holiday home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private pool and spacious outdoor areas that provide privacy and seclusion in a truly authentic atmosphere. The history that made this property great can still be seen everywhere: beautiful hand-made fabrics from Pollensa decorate the internal walls, while old agricultural utensils remain visible in the surrounding gardens and fields (measuring an impressive size of over 220,000 m²).



Therefore, renting Villa Cals Frares for a holiday not only means being close to sandy beaches (Puerto Pollensa or Cala San Vicente are less than 10 minutes by car) and pretty towns, but also means renting a part of the history that made this island and its proud people great.



Inside, the villa is distributed over 2 floors and has been carefully furnished to maintain the taste, style, and traditions of Mallorcan estates. On the ground floor, there is a comfortable living room with TV, Wi-Fi internet access, sofas and armchairs, along with a separate kitchen/dining area, an attractive double bedroom with antique furniture and a family bathroom with a shower. Both the living room and kitchen have access to the outside, respectively to a covered porch (which houses a kind of museum of Mallorcan traditions) and a shaded outdoor dining area with table, chairs, sink and barbecue. On the upper floor, there are 2 more bedrooms and an additional (en suite) bathroom. The main bedroom, with its comfortable bed, beautiful headboard with hand-woven fabrics from Pollensa, dressing room and en suite bathroom, is a true oasis of peace. The other bedroom, again finished to the highest standard and full of history, is a room with two beds.



The exterior areas of Villa Cals Frares are definitely incomparable. Guests will have an almost unlimited space at their disposal, extending from the forest on the hill to the path connecting Pollensa with Lluc. The private swimming pool, measuring 6.5m x 3.6m and with a depth of 1.5m, is equipped with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. It offers total privacy and unobstructed panoramic views over the valley beyond. There are many opportunities to eat, relax, rest by reading a book or sunbathing: whether you choose to sit under the pergola or under the shaded porch, you will experience the unique charm of authentic Mallorca.

Information to take into account:



In the event of key loss or if keys are left inside the accommodation, a charge of 50 € will be applied during office hours and 75 € outside of those hours. The new keys must be collected from our office by the guest.



On the day of departure, no rubbish must be left on the property. Guests must remove all waste; otherwise, a fee of €150 for waste management will be applied.



The guest registration is mandatory by law in Spain (Royal Decree 933/2021 of 26 October) and in Greece (Law 4446/2016). Close to the arrival date, we will send an online check-in link to register all guests.

As a guest of this villa, you'll find barbecue grills, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
