Business Hotel

Pros: Comfortable rooms
Cons: Entrance / Hall
Location: Good place for business. Not the best place for tourism. Still, Ponta Delgada is a small town
Only 2 nights. No use of facilities. Good breakfast

Good leisure trip

Our room was a bit outdated, the carpeting definitely need some refurbishment. Otherwise very good hotel with all required amenities and very pleasant staff. We had a city-view balcony, which was good to spend time on evenings.

Supermarket & Chinese buffet nearby

We arrived the hotel late at around 10pm. Bed is comfortable, very supportive. No kettle is provided in the room. In England, it is something very basis, even B&B like Travelodge provides that. Our room is facing the sea but the view is actually not very good because there is a field opposite, full of low buildings with ugly metal roof. So, we tried to look far in our balcony. Bear in mind that the hotel is located in front of a roundabout, it could be noisy during high season. To us, a visit in early December, it was fine and we slept very well, not sure any soundproof glass has been installed. Upon check in at 10pm approx, we asked the Reception if somewhere nearby still open for dinner. They did not tell there is a Chinese Restaurant just across the street. ( We are Chinese. ) Otherwise, we would be much more appreciated. We also do not like its swimming pool and jacuzzi, the area is too small and the decor surrounding the jacuzzi is not nice. The carpark is in the basement, passing through very steep slope and tight entrance without a good ramp. Overall, it was okay for its price. The most important was having a good sleep in a hotel. But, I think the hotel has much more potential to be better.

quiet comfortable hotel

Clean hotel with very little noise and a good breakfast -good sea and hill views as well as a 12 min walk to the centre and a supermarket 2 min away

Mukava hotelli, joka on autolla ajamisen kannalta varsin hyvin sijoitettu ja siellä onkin ilmainen parkkis. Vähän kaukana Ponta Delgadan keskustasta, mutta hyväkuntoinen kävelee sen helteelläkin. Iso kauppa ihan lähellä, mistä saa hyvät eväät. Hotellin ravintola on tosi hyvä azorilaisen makutason huomioiden.
