Iririki Island Resort & Spa
"The location is ideal, a 2-minute ferry ride to downtown Port Vila. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Our bungalow was perfectly positioned #53. We had a view of the mainland and could see part of the pool area and the restaurant, but far enough away that the noise didn't bother us. I love people watching, so the constant flow kept me amused. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone. The restaurant meals were pretty good but the prices have certainly skyrocketed since we were there last. Especially the wine. Tip for anyone staying there. Turn right when you get off the ferry and there is a large supermarket at the top of the hill (15-20 minute walk) that sells wine, beer and everything imaginable for much more reasonable prices. The best coffee place in town is called Coco on Co only 5 minutes walk in the same direction. Staff and their Poke bowls were amazing. We went there every day! Best burgers in town at at the opposite end of town, a good 20 minute walk to a place called Burgers at Vanuatu - it's located in a shipping container. THE best burgers we have come across and not expensive. Probably the only fault after 8 days was that I accidently cut my foot and needed a band aid. I asked at the restaurant and they didn't have a first aid kit. That's something that should be rectified I would go back there in a heart beat - just don't go on "Independence Day" the celebrations were loud and kept us awake until 4am. No fault of the hotel."
