Solid Experience

The staff shine at this location. Great proximity to all you want to see in Portland. Interior Design of Hotel overall very hip and fun, however it could use update on paint and I'm personally not a fan of the white fluorescent bulbs. A warmer light selection will make the place feel fast more comfortable. The Starbucks in the lobby is incredibly convenient, even when you want to support local.

Amazing bed, excellent shower and cleanliness. I am old, and appreciate the accessibility and space to move around. I did find the wall decorations and graphics to be bizarre and jarring. Plain painted walls would suit me better than gauges, dials, buttons and words all over the walls. Very odd.

I found the front desk staff rude and not welcoming. Our room didn’t get cleaned up to 4 pm then I would have to ask the front desk if we could get the room cleaned. They would give me such an attitude about it. I would let them know we left the proper form 9-4 pm we expected the room to get cleaned. One day I had to track the cleaning staff and beg them to clean the room. We found a finger nail on the floor as we had just arrived. Which means they didn’t even clean properly after checkout.The would not vacuum the room. They made the bed and changed the towels.
