A great hotel with excellent staff

Everything was excellent, from the airport transfer (supplier nominated by the hotel), the check-in process, the design and decor of the room and common areas, right through to breakfast choices. The team were professional, courteous and extremely helpful, and spoke excellent English. I was so happy that I could open my room window - it makes it easier to sleep. The hotel is conveniently located for the north-eastern side of the city centre, an easy walk to Rua de Santa Catarina and the Mercado do Bolhão and the Bolhão metro station is less than 5 minutes walk away. There is a small gym and a pool in the basement, and the facilities overall were very good.

The rooms are very cool, clean and modern with excellent storage. The staff was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay and the location is excellent, especially if you want to be close to some of the busier areas but away from the noise. You can walk just about anyplace you'd like to see in 15 minutes or less.

The stay was wonderful. The staff were well informed and helpful. Morning breakfast was excellent and full of wholesome options. The showers in the bathroom can be a bit slippery even with the special grip mats. But I never had an accident so all in all would stay again.
