Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Chiemsee mit dem Hotel-Strand und dem tollen Außenbereich ist hervorragend.

Beste Zeit des Hotels liegt in der Vergangenheit. Die Infrastruktur insb. Zimmer entsprechen keiner 4* Klassifizierung mehr.

Wir hatten einen ganz ungemütlichen Empfang wegen unserem Hund. Fühlten uns absolut unwillkommen. Wohnen selbst sehr gepflegt, haben seit 30 Jahren Hunde und noch nie solch ein Erlebnis! Angereist aus der Schweiz, durften wir kein Zimmer mit Seeblick haben, bekamen‘netterweise‘ ein letztes Zimmer gegen den Wald.....das Hotel hatte noch viele freie Zimmer!!!!

Ein toller Name allein reicht nicht!

Als wir unser Zimmer betraten, wurden wir von einem Zimmer mit 90er Jahre Deko und sehr viel Holz empfangen. Die Möbel passten nicht wirklich zusammen. Die Sitzmöbel hätte ich mit dem roten und beigen Kunstleder in keinem 4 Sterne Haus erwartet. Wir mussten erst einmal die Heizung hoch drehen, da das Zimmer Recht ausgekühlt war. Es gibt sicherlich Gäste die wollen dies so, es hätten 2-3 Grad mehr aber nicht geschadet. Wir verspüten keine Lust in dem Zimmer zu verweilen, verließen das Hotel und sind erst am späten Abend wieder zurück gekommen. Von der zuvor hoch gedrehten Heizung war nichts zu spüren, im Gegenteil, es war um einiges kälter, wir vermuten es lag an einer automatischen Nachtabsenkung. Meine Frau hatte sich sofort die Zusatzdecke geschnappt. Ich, dem es eher immer zu warm ist empfand die Nacht als unangenehm kühl. Am nächsten Morgen freuten wir uns schon auf eine heiße Dusche... war aber nichts. Aus dem Brausekopf spritze das Wasser in alle Himmelsrichtungen und zu allem Überfluss schwankte die Temperatur dermaßen, dass eine wärmende Dusche nicht möglich war. Beim Checkout wurden wir gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Wir schilderten unser Erlebnis, der Empfangsmitarbeiter machte sich auch eifrig Notizen und erwidert, "ja, wir haben schon öfters diese Beschwerden gehabt, aber wir sind dabei und die Fenster werden derzeit abgedichtet." Als Entschädigung bekamen wir die wohl üblichen Bonbons die jeder Gast zur Abreise erhält. Von 4 Sternen erwarte ich mehr!

schönes Hotel direkt am See

Pros: Wir haben die grosszügigen Zimmer sehr geschätzt. Vom Whirlpool am Waldrand waren wir begeistert.
Cons: Die Mitarbeiter im Restaurant/Frühstück waren sehr unfreundlich und arrogant. Zudem muss die Ausstattung am See renoviert werden.
Location: Wir haben eine sehr schöne Rundfahrt auf dem Chiemsee gemacht und die Herren- sowie Fraueninsel besucht.
Das Hotel ist sehr schön mit grosszügigen Zimmern. Was wir sehr geschätzt haben, war der Wellnessbereich mit Innenpool und Aussen-Whirlpool am Waldrand. Auch die Sauberkeit war bemerkenswert, die Mitarbeiter an die Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir waren leider etwas enttäuscht vom Frühstücksbuffet, die Mitarbeiter waren nicht gerade freundlich. Auch im Restaurant waren wir vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis etwas enttäuscht. Unserer Meinung nach müsste die Ausstattung am See (Privatstrand) erneuert werden, die Liegestühle waren alt und beispielsweise die Leiter vom Steg in den See war nur noch lose an zwei Schrauben befestigt. Sonst waren wir aber wirklich zufrieden und werden wieder kommen.

Die Lage direkt am See toll

Pros: Das Frühstück war ok.
Cons: Preis-Leistung des Restaurants lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig.
Location: Bei schönem Wetter kann man sich vielseitig betätigen. Bei schlechtem Wetter gibt es kaum Alternativen.
Ein Zimmer zur Straße war reserviert, obwohl Seeseite bestellt war. Das Zimmer war neu renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Also umziehen, denn zur Straßenseite ist es bei offenem Fenster ab morgens 6 zu laut. Die Einrichtung des neuen Zimmers zur Seeseite hatte den Charme der 60er Jahre, uralt, bis auf das Bad, das war wenigstens aktuell. Da ich über Booking gebucht hatte und Kreditkarte zur Sicherheit durchgegeben hatte, war es auch ein Fehler, denn es wurde 7 Wochen vor Nutzung bereits abgebucht. Dies stand in keiner Unterlage. Die Rechnungserstellung und Richtigstellung war eine Katastrophe.
