The main and probably the only thing that I did not like was the water pressure and the fact that warm water lasted a few seconds. I had to give my 3 year old cold showers after being in the beach and pool all day. The food was ok but very repetitive. Some food had flavor and other tasted like cardboard. Outside of that the entire place was super clean and staff was very attentive. Be careful with the vendors by the beach if they think you don’t know they will over charge you on things. The store in the place was also super expensive. A small kids candy toy was priced at $17 dollars. Something that cost in Florida $2 at a gas station. But I honestly cannot complain. I was able to go to all the bear by resorts that lifestyle has and use any pool other than VIP. Check in was easy and it ver all I would go back for sure.

This resort was very nice. The rooms could use an upgrade but overall, had a great time and there’s lots to do. I will warn that status is everything here. I would highly recommend paying the extra for VIP.

Algunos de los empleados fueron muy atentos y serviciales pero la mayoría no. El cuarto q me asignaron estaba húmedo y con cucarachas la ducha estaba dañada la cama y los tendidos en pésimas condiciones, bajé a la recepción a pedir cambiarla y me dijeron q la podría cambiar al día siguiente , la señora Angelica nos consiguió una mejor y fue muy atenta , no fue la mejor vacación ya q varias de las personas con las q viaje tuvieron vomito y diarrea y pudimos oír a varias personas hospedadas en el resort quejarse de lo mismo .

There were many of us forced to stay in the unrenovated rooms with no AC, broken furniture, broken shower head, broken safe, roof leaks and despite multiple complaints, nothing was done to address our issues.

I was not impressed with this property . We stayed here years ago and it was wonderful. This stay was horrible . The rooms at tropical were horrible ! Reminds me of the La Quinta or Days Inn . The food was disgusting. I ended up with food poisoning . we were without water to shower and brush our teeth for hours , then the water was COLD ! The pressure was so little the water wasn’t coming out , . Around the property was clean and the staff were nice .

Im in shock that Expedia has this on thier website. I took my wife there on vacation for her 60th birthday. We got there around 230pm. They switch my room 4 times. The rooms where disgusting. Cracked shower glass. To mold in many places. Now its 10pm and I just gave up and stood with the last room because we where so tired. Lord and behold we killed at least 12 cockeroach. I even took pictures and of the room. I would never ever go thier again! Would not recommend Expedia or this location which is called Lifestyle tropical Resort in Puerto Plata Dominican Republic. Stay away.

First room i had - TV didnt work - asked them to check it - took 24 hours and 5 times asking at the reception till they told me it is not repairable and the offered another room. The second room had water dripping from the ceiling in the middle of the room, as well as under the air conditioner outlet, in the bath room over the sink and water came out somewhere around the toilet bowl. With all this dripping the smell in the room was terrible.

El hotel en base al precio esta muy bien. Hermosas piscina, comida bien sin embargo pueden mejorrar mucho en el transporte y la coordinacion ya que aveces uno decie una cosa y el otro otra en base a la logistica. fuera de eso es excelente hotel. Sin dudas volvere

Was very disappointed in this resort. The room was terrible and had no hot water the whole vacation. If you don’t pay for the time share they offer for the resort, you get treated like your a low level. The food at the resort, was terrible, and could tell is was used over and over. Barely ate the whole vacation. Terrible resort, would never go back!!!!!
