It has now been six days since I checked out, and I am still waiting for the refund of the amount that was held at check-in. Check-in was awful, it was scheduled for 3pm but we didn’t get our room till about 6pm. I requested cleaning service for the room along with new towels, they never came to clean and when they finally showed up with the towels said they could only provide us with 2/4, even though we were 4 guests. Reception hours aren't 24hrs, hours are from 8-10pm, but when I went in the morning no one arrived until 8:30am. The service at the Maria restaurant was also awful, took forever to get service and when we did finally get around to ordering we waited for over an hour and a half, eventually had to cancel the order and go elsewhere.

I loved the ocean view and the villa we rented was beautiful. Food was great also. Did not like that we were misled to believe the villa was 100% consumable. The reception informed us that all reservations done via expedia.com do not qualify for this offer. Did not care to give us any discount or any help. They wanted us to cancel our expedia booking and pay them cash. They insisted on receiving $300 as a hold instead of $200 as stated on expedia’s website. Got to the villa and the second day the kitchen had a foul smell, and we did not have hot water for two days.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa and it was exceptionally nice. We had our own private pool which was cleaned by the staff during our stay. They went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable, like organizing a golf cart and taxis for us. Highly recommend!
