The tv unit wasn’t work properly. We had to as for. Kettle which we had 2h later. We couldn’t watch the tv at all even after we told them this need sorting they never did. The room was ok.

Great location and easy checkin. However, the beds are just average and not comfortable. The deal breaker was the lack of hot water for showers. We received a response to our text about the water but that was the limit of help.

Absolutely fantastic! We were braced for a more touristy experience but what we got was a beautiful room in a historic building right in the heart of the historic center that added a sense of genuineness to our visit. Interactions with staff via text messaging was easy, efficient and pleasant. Overall, a very low stress, high satisfaction experience.

Our stay was very disappointing. The property felt old, poorly maintained, and not clean. Service was minimal, with no real front desk support or basic amenities you would expect at this price point. Overall, it did not provide a comfortable or welcoming experience, and I would not recommend it.

Good hotel, although rooms are a bit small. I’m not tall (5ft. 5ins) but I still hit my head on the deeply recessed eaves. Getting in with a digital key was a pain — had to find the right email with the correct URL. But, location of hotel is superb, worth the hassle of no reception and no elevator. Also, the digital reception people were very responsive, so in the end it was ok. Restaurant below hotel was very limited in its breakfast menu (but lots of other options steps away) and their staff seemed consistently overwhelmed. I rated the whole experience at 4 stars — good, but not great.

Location is excellent. Signage too small, missed it first night. Lack of assistance to get luggage to room. Thankfully the servers in bistro were wonderful. NO Storage for luggage, you really must fix that.My TV did not work. Room was confortable. Staff online were very responsive.

It was okay. When we got to our room, the little kitchen area and adjoining rug had a lot of water on it as the regular air conditioner was broken. They had a different kind of air conditioner that basically poured water into the rest of the place. The young man who cleaned it up was very nice and responsive. Also, please note that there is no elevator so if you have heavy luggage, you’re gonna have to climb stairs.

Solid Spot for a Weekend Getaway in QC

My wife and I had a pretty good stay here for a weekend away in QC; There were definitely a few things that can be improved upon, but first the things we liked: - Perfectly located in central old Quebec City; Old Quebec City is very busy during the day with tourists but gets VERY quiet after 10PM which is ideal for rest and sleep; - Our room (#7) was very clean with a rustic / quirky decor we really liked; - Self Check-In was easy and while we did not need any assistance, we had a sense the staff were ready to assist us anytime if we had any questions or concerns; A few things could definitely have improved our stay as well: - The bed and bedding were not particularly comfortable on our room - even for me, who prefers a firmer mattress, I was walking up stiff and uncomfortable; This would be the number one thing that would have brought our stay closer to 5 stars; - The room has a beautiful bath tub, but we couldn't figure out how to operate it - not a big deal, but it's definitely a cool feature that seems under-utilized - While the room was immaculate where it mattered, it is carpeted with a carpet that was stained / ready for replacement - we though it odd that the room was so well curated save for this one item; Overall, would stay again - provided they update the beds/bedding

Charming ! However there was no elevator or help to get luggage up a staircase. Ask for first floor room if you are over 70 or have other difficulties Also the location is great but because if all the restaurants right below it is noisy
