Within the old city walls, Hotel Manoir Victoria is 1 minute from dozens of restaurants and shops in the upper city, and less than 10 minutes from the historic centre. The staff excelled at everything. A great hotel in a great city!

Parking at the hotel a little pricy but the 3 day bus pass much appreciated. We would stay again. The little convenience atore T the entrance....a lovely spot for speciality items...thank you. Was very nice, friendly staff, clean room, good restaurants nearby, all the activities at working distance. Its just that theres no smart tv in the room. But that would not be a problem if you bring your laptop and hdmi cable.

This property is not for those who are elderly or have issues doing steps. There are 20 steps to climb before you enter the lobby. There is another entrance but it goes through the restaurant in hotel and they do not want you to use this entrance or exit. For that reason I would not stay here again.

The entrance into the hotel is at a 45° angle. If you’re carrying bags, you can’t make it up the stairs.

The biggest problem was all of the stairs you had to climb to get in. Both me and another person have bad knees. That was extremely difficult. When we went through the restaurant because there were no stairs we were scolded Also there was only 1 working elevator. Also I expected a much better breakfast than what was served

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, great location. only one elevator servicing the entire hotel was a bit frustrating, and finding out that it has been out of service for a long time. surprising that they would not have it fixed for the busy summer season.

Small things to remedy our otherwise very good sta

A charging plug on both sides of the bed would have been helpful. And offer breakfast a la cart instead of a set price. Also larger mugs for tea in the room would have been nice

Disliked: Amenities
The property is beautiful. The restaurant was excellent. There were two glaring issues. 1) There are 20 stairs at the entrance which made it very difficult for my older parents to enter the hotel. 2) we entered our room at 10:00 and heard loud music coming from across the street. I called the front desk to ask them to resolve the noise issue from a neighboring establishment. I was told they called and it would be resolved. It wasn’t. I called again at 11:30, I was told by a more upset front desk person that he had called and the music was off. It wasn’t, and in fact got louder. At 1:30am, there were person shouting in the street outside our room while the music blared. I call again and was told again by the same person that the music was off. In the morning, I spoke to a new person at the front desk who told me the knight lets on kept calling the wrong place. If you stay, make sure you are in a room not near the street!

When I walked in, I thought it was kind of funky. I now realize even the number one hotel in town didn’t have a grand entrance. The location is great, so I’ll excuse a little funkiness. Food was pretty good, I’d definitely stay here again.

Great hotel but…

This was our splurge hotel traveling across Canada. The hotel is quite nice and the employees were all great. The room itself was very comfortable. The restaurant associated with the hotel was exceptional. I’d love to given it a 5 except for the following: There is a long staircase to get in to the hotel. Not a huge issue unless you have a lot of luggage and/or bikes (as we did). The staff is super accommodating but felt bad requiring their assistance. Our room was on the level above a busy street. There was loud music played until 11 pm both nights we were there. The first morning was garbage day and maybe street cleaning starting around 6 am. I’d recommend the hotel but ask for a room away from the busy street.
