A family resort.

The hotel hasn't changed much since I first stayed there in the 90s. The staff on the whole are helpful and friendly. There are some great shows to watch. Our favourite was the fire dance. It's definitely a great place to stay with kids, although this time they stayed at home. A few of the waitstaff are a little dishonest with their drinks charges as we caught them out twice, which spoiled part of our stay here, as did the housekeeping staff with their attention to detail. Overall though a relaxing place to stay.

The spa is amazing. The beach is amazing. The staff are so friendly. They were accommodating to specific requests for one of our party. Housekeeping every day with a smile. The cultural night was fab. We will be back!

This is a very comfortable property that met our needs. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The property is right on the beach with tropical fish swimming in water below your knees. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend for families. The resort does need to ensure that their website, tv menus and onsite menus are updated to align but this is a minor point.

Disliked the rooms, our room was outdated with some renovations to the bathroom, the cleanliness of the place was terrible, we had red ants appearing on the floors and on our bed upon entering the room, the bathroom also had red ants. Tiles look like they weren’t cleaned properly

Had a beachfront room that accommodated myself and two children comfortably. Spotted whales from the balcony. Enjoyed the atmosphere and staff were always smiling and welcoming, felt like part of the Edgewater family.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Great location for sunset and beautiful location, gardens are so nicely kept. The room was adequate for our needs. Great day spa, thanks Rosa for the amazing deep tissue massage. Great Island night and breakfast was a hit with the kids. Able to see the humpback whales while eating breakfast in the morning, how amazing. Really efficient with meals at the restaurant with so many people ordering. Nice atmosphere and local bus pulls right into the resort making getting around the island easy. Also rented a car from rental car place onsite, really easy. Nice and close to airport for our early morning flight, cannot hear the planes from the resort. Excellent place, we would love go back.

There were three weddings during our stay with music late at night. The WiFi was very patchy but the staff are lovely and the facilities are clean. Snorkels were available but often missed out as not enough. If you got a snorkel there is lovely snorkelling at the resort- no need to travel elsewhere. Most suited to a family holiday with kids.

The staff at the resort are excellent, facilities need a refresh. Pretty seedy in places, breakfast awful, not enough loungers. All in all OK value for money but could only get basic room and have been more disappointed if we had paid more.

The service at the bar and outdoor dining was rubbish you couldn’t charge your drinks to your room at the bar. You’ll get your drink and you then have to walk around the corner to another till , stand in a queue holding your drinks to get the docket to sign🙁
