The stay was great as usual. we are repeated visitors to this area and almost always stay at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center. They are under renovations on all the ocean front rooms, so we booked an ocean view which was partially obstructed by the new Beach Patrol building. However, you can still see the ocean and hear the sound of the waves.

Even though the staff was GREAT, the room was out dated. The carpet was stained, the plugs on the light switch didn't work. The tissue fixture in the bathroom was hanging off the wall.
