The location in terms of view was epic. Otherwise, the accommodations were quaint looking and clean, but there is no restaurant (which is in the description), and the hot tubs were not usable (one was out of order. The other was only heated to luke warm). There was no one on site for any issues. The view is what makes the stay.

The place has so much personality! Beautiful location with the ocean wrapping around us, and excellently suited for birding! But when the sea wind blows hard, you really hear it inside the room. Our only complaint was that the tiny refrigerator barely worked; we were disappointed there was no kitchen in the room or on the premises.

I loved this place! A true escape on the coast. I enjoyed the views, sea air, the hot tub and sauna. It was very quiet and relaxing. My place was well kept and clean. I have already recommended this place to multiple friends and would love to come again.

Beautiful spot on the water, about 25 minutes from town. Very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Much better than the current rating. Calm and peaceful place to relax. I did not try the hot tub or sauna.

This is my second visit to the property. Beautifully located with amazing views. Quiet but only 10-15 min drive to the city. Rooms are spacious . Rooms are accessible with small ramp with parking spots close to the room, good for those with mobility issues . Suana and hot tubs available for end of the day winding down . No restaurant on site but restaurants and grocery stores within a few minute drive. Plenty of parking . Bed is comfy , fridge with tea kettle in room. Bathrobes available for use as well. Great spot if you have a car and want to explore beyond Reykjavik

This property resides on stunning landscape! end of peninsula with quiet beach, easy walking with none around! Sauna and not tub a so and clean. Swimming pool public can be relaxing and in walking distance. Close to Reykjavík but not busy and quiet.
