Girls' weekend

This was a really good experience for us - the building is beautiful, with interesting ceilings and woodwork. Bedrooms unexciting but comfortable. The food in Benjamin's was delicious, specially when you take into account the 30% discount the first night. Breakfasts had everything you could want. Staff very helpful - Leonid(?) on the desk printed out our boarding passes. Riga itself was delightful, much better than we had hoped, with none of the threatening atmosphere we had read about online in forums. And so clean! The hotel overlooks a park, which with the trees just coming out was exquisite. We went to two free concerts in St John's Church, which were so moving that we cried. We also visited the Art Nouveau streets, and the Ethnographical Park outside the town. I'd love to go back - right now!

Pleasant old time hotel

Courteous and efficient service at the desk, in the restaurant and at the bar, despite a happy local party in the nearby function room. Room was ok with double bed as requested but the window was small and obscure and there was no kettle in the room - so no hot drinks before 7 am. Overall a good hotel and excellent value.

Erittäin siisti, hiljainen ja kaunis hotelli. Upea aamupalahuone ja hyvä aamupala. Ei mitään moitittavaa. Voin vain kehua. Menen varmasti uudelleenkin.

Kaunis hotelli. Hyvä palvelu. Ainoastaan aamiaisen hinnoittelu aiheutti hämmennystä lasten osalta. Lisäksi ekologiseen puoleen voisi kiinnittää enemmän huomiota. Kylppärissä on taulut, jossa asiakkaita pyydetään kiinnittämään huomiota pyyhkeiden pesuun, mutta vaikka ne ovat nätisti naulakoissaan, ne vietiin silti joka päivä pesuun.
