While it was super convenient to be able to walk across the street for drs appointments, I can't say it would be enough for me to ever stay again. There was no way to control the temperature of the room so we were sweating all night. The room service people walked into our room multiple times, even after being told no and with the sign on the door. We also were charged an extra $160 on the morning of the last day and I still do not know why.

Enjoy this stay. So convenient with the skyway to Mayo clinic buildings. Disappointed breakfast is not included however a very nice wine and cheese reception in the evenings. That was a pleasant surprise. Our main complaint is the hot water was not hot. Showers were lukewarm at best. More cool than lukewarm. Didn’t matter if we showered at 6 AM or 12 noon it was still cold. Not pleasant. With the higher cost — one would really like a hot shower! Staff at the front desk was very nice at check-in!

There was a leak on the shower spraying water everywhere, mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the cable did not work. The shower head was very low, as in bend over to use.

Great location for going to Mayo. Room is just ok, nothing special for the price. Bathroom door is made of glass so if you use bathroom in the middle of the night and turn light on the whole room lights up.

Afterthought bathroom?

The room itself was fine, plenty of space and clean, but the bathroom must’ve been an afterthought. Had to make sure you knew what you were going in for because there was no room to change your mind once in there. I’m thinking the one in our old camper was bigger. I actually hit my head on the doorknob while on the toilet, had to sit a little sideways so could get to the tp. There was a grab bar in the shower, kept hitting my right elbow on that. No space of any kind anywhere for toiletries except in the sink basin. No tissues so we used the spare roll of tp. To top it all off, all 3 packets of coffee were decaf…. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and always had a good experience, but not this time…a bit of a bummer.
